The object of this invention is to provide an article of furniture which will contain or support the various articles needed for toilet use. This object is accomplished by the construction and arrangement hereinafter fully described.
In the accompanying drawings, A designates the rectangular frame of my devices. From the middle of the bottom piece of said frame a bar, A, extends obliquely forward and downward, to which is rigidly attached the middle of a horizontal bar or towel-rack, B. Said horizontalbar or rack is provided at its ends with expansions b b, which prevent the towels from being accidentally displaced.

Above said shelf the back D of said casingis provided with a large opening, through which shows a mirror, E. Said mirror is held in place against the rear of said back piece D and frame A by means of ahorizontal supportingflange, d, a little below said opening, and
. grooved guide-pieces at the rear of its opposite sides. One of said guide-pieces (marked 11) is shown in Fig. 2.
Below said mantel or shelf 0 a casing, F,
is secured to the front of frame A, and extends down nearly to the bottom of said frame. The said casing is divided into a series of compartments for the purpose of holding various toilet articles. The upper part of it contains a large compartment, G, for holding brushes and combs. compartment by means ofa door, G, in front plate H of easing F. Below the middle of this comb and brush compartment is a smallother small articles. This is divided into two stories or portions by means of a horizontal partition, '6, and provided with adoor, I. On one side of this jewelry-compartment Ia pincushion, J, is set into a recess or compartment of said casing, and on the other side thereof a compartment, K, is closed by a door, L, on the inside of which are secured a matchholder, M, and a friction cylinder, N, against which the matches are struck in lighting them.
O designates the cover of said casin g, which sets over said front plate H and the compartments described above. The said cover is locked to casing F by any suitable lock, the case or plate of which (marked P) is shown in Fig. 1.
