Referring to the drawings in detail it will be seen that the numeral 5 denotes the typewriter stand on which may be mounted a Our improved rack comprises a pair of elongated strap arms including vertical sections 7 merging into upwardly and rearwardly inclined sections 8 and at their lower ends merging into right angularly and forwardly extending sections 9. The sections 9 extend under the rear notes an advertising panel having thereover a transparent panel 15. A frame 16 extends about the edges of the panels 14 and 15.
The upper portions of the sections 8 are riveted or otherwise secured'to the panel 14 on the rear surface thereof. A bracket 17 on the upper portion of the panel extends upwardly therefrom and then curved over in front thereof to support a lamp shade 18 so that electric bulbs therein may throw the light down on the panel 15.

It will be apparentthat the rack may be used to advantage in advertising in large oflices and in public places where typewriters are used. n

Having thus described our invention, what we claim as new is: Y

An advertising rack of the class described including a pair of spaced parallel cgextensive strap arms having vertical sections which merge at their upper ends into upwardly and'rearwardly inclined sections and at their lower ends merge into forwardly and right angularly directed extensions adapted to be placed under the rear of a typewriter or table, a pair of L-shaped strap arms having their shorter legs xed tothe upper ends of the vertical sections to project forwardly therefrom and adapted tobe secured to the topi of the rear portion of the typewriter or table anda panel secured on the upper por- 2.
