[Class 3 (ii).] Two signboards or frames carrying sign matter, arranged back to back in inclined relationship and pivotally connected along their front vertical edges, are connected by links or equivalent means to a support extending symmetrically between them, the support being mounted at its rear end on a narrow fixing plate which may be secured to any narrow supporting surface. Fig. 3 shows an arrangement in which frames 10, 11 are supported at the top and bottom by links 20 connected to a collar 24 slidable on a bar 15 carried by a plate 18 attached to a post or the like 19. Translucent panels in the frames may be illuminated by a lamp 31, Fig. 2, in a casing 30 secured by a clip 28 on the plate 18. In a modification, Fig. 4, the trames are provided at the top and bottom with quadrantal plates 32 pivoted together along an axis 36 and slidable over one another. These plates are slotted at 33 and adjustably clamped by butterfly nuts or the like 35 on bars 34 secured to the fixing plate 18.
