Abstract

192,233. Watts, M. Nov. 28, 1921. Card and like stands.-A stand for displaying announcements, photographs, &c. comprises a pair of parallel channel-shaped members spaced apart by one or more connecting- members, the announcement-card, photograph, &c. and the glass being slidden in from the ends of the channels. The channel members 1 have the rear flange of greater depth than the front flange and are provided at the ends with lugs adapted to be turned inwardly to retain the glass and card in portion. The connecting members 5 are of semi-circular or other cross-section to serve as a bearing for one or more pivotally mounted supporting-members 6 bent at che lower end 7 to form a foot, and at the upper end 8 into a plane substantially at right-angles to the end 7 to serve as a stop to limit the turning of the support.
