Referring to the drawings in detail wherein like characters of reference denote corresponding parts, the reference character 10 indicates generally a form of housing, provided with a reducer portion 11 adjacent one end thereof tocaccommodate the shoulder disc arge neck of the latter, in the manner suggested in dotted lines in Figure 2 of the drawings. Rack bar portions 12 and 13, arranged within the housing and disposed in i spaced parallelism, are designed for meshing engagement with spur gears 14, fixedly secured upon an operating shaft 15, pro ectmg at one end outwardly through a passageway 16 in one side of the housing. A wheel or handle portion 17 is conveniently located upon the'outermost projecting extremity of All the operating shaft to cause the spur gears to move in unison over the respective rack bar portions. A roller member 18, carried by and revolvably mounted upon that por tion of the shaft 15 between the rack bar. portions 12 and 13, is designed to compress the portion of a collapsibletube adjacent the body of a collapsible tube 19 against the rear wall 20 of the housing to expel or otherwise eject the contents of the tube in anyquantity desired. As shown in Figure 5 of the drawings, the rear Wall 20 of the housing is fiat for the purpose of coacting with the roller 18 in the expelling of the tube contents.
For purposes of convenience, during the removal and replacement of collapsible tubes, I have provided a closure member 21 'hingedly secured, as at 22, upon the: upper portion of the housing in oppositely disposed relation to that of the reducer portion 11. A neck portion 28, carried by and rearwardlyi-projecting from the rear wall 20 of the housing. terminates to provide an attaching portion 24 designed for support upon a wall structure or the like. 1
Brace members 25 establish connection at their ends between the neck portion 23 and 7 the rear side of the backwall 20 of the housing to define pockets 26 therebetween for the accommodation of the shanks or handle portions of tooth brushes and the like. The
bristles of the brushes are'sufiicient to prevent the brushes, in their cntireties, from passing through the pockets 26.
The invention is susceptible of various changes in its form, proportions and minor details of construction and the right is herein reserved to make such changes as properly fall within the scope of the appended claim.
