Device for attaching a cloth flap to cleaning devices equipped with a handle, in particular scrubbers. The present invention relates to a device for attaching a cloth rag to cleaning devices equipped with a handle, in particular scrubbers, with a piece of pipe stecked over the device handle, at the end of which is facing the cleaning body a bracket is arranged, which is dimensioned that in the fastening position of the cloth flap it does not protrude laterally beyond the cleaning body and is designed in such a way that
that he holds a cloth placed over the back of the cleaning body transversely to the direction of movement of the device over at least approximately the entire width of the cleaning body.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown, namely: Fig. 1 shows the device on a floor cleaning device in the form of a scrubber, in front view, in diagrammatic presen- tation, Fig. 2 the scrubber with the hochgezo-specific holder in part over the brush body folded wiper and Fig. 3 the same as in Fig. 2 with the holder in the fastening position.
In the example shown, 1 designates the cleaning body designed as a brush and 2 the handle of the scrubber. In the exemplary embodiment shown, a metal threaded sleeve 3 is used to establish the connection between the brush 1 and the handle 2. This can also be omitted and the handle 2 can be attached directly to the brush 1, depending on the choice. On the lower part of the handle 2 connected to the brush 1, a pipe section 4 is arranged axially displaceably, which is expediently either made of stainless steel, or with a stainless coating, e.g. B. made of nickel or chrome, is seen ver. In the pipe section 4, a longitudinal slot 5 is excluded, through which a screw 6 is driven into the handle 2.
Slot 5 and screw 6 are used to limit the displacement of the pipe piece 4. On the opposite side of the slot 5 between the pipe piece 4 and the stem 2 is a by means of two pins 7 attached to the latter leaf spring 8 angeord net so that they are bends slightly compared to the stem and presses against the pipe section 1.
At the lower end of the brush 1 zugelzehrten the pipe section carries a stainless steel existing BEZW. Nickel-plated or chrome-plated retaining bracket 9. This is approximately as wide as the brush itself and designed so that it is in the mounting position with the exception of its carrier 9a. rests on the back of the brush body, but does not protrude laterally over the same. The supports 9a are bent up so far that the lower end of the pipe section 4 in the fastening position of the bracket 9 protrudes sufficiently far from the Bürstenkör by even when using a fastening sleeve 3, as shown, so that the pipe section 4 does not stick to the sleeve 3 pending before the retaining bracket 9 has come to rest on the brush body.
The handling of the illustrated Hal age is as follows: If a mopping cloth is to be attached to the scrubber, the latter is when the holder 4, 9 is pulled up in the manner shown in FIG. 1 on the mopping cloth 10 spread out on the floor. By a certain friction between tween the handle 2 and the pipe section 4 generating spring 8, the holder 4, 9 is held in the position shown. The part of the wiping flap 10 lying in front of the brush 1 is now turned over onto the back of the brush, as can be seen in FIG. 2.
After this, the holder 4, 9 is pushed down, the part of the wiping flap 10 lying on the back of the brush being clamped transversely to the direction of movement of the brush indicated by arrow A over almost the entire width of the same between this and the bracket 9. After pulling up the holder 4, 9, the wiping cloth 10 can easily be removed from the brush again. to be diverted.
As experience has shown, the hold that is imparted to the mopping cloth by the holder described is an extremely good one. The handling of the device is made much easier by the relatively long piece of pipe 4, which can be easily grasped and easily operated by the person handling the scrubber when the person handling the scrubber is almost upright.
