rlhis invention relates to clips, particular-` ly of the kind used in closing a wrapper around a strand of hair on a curling rod prepared for permanent waving, andpro a vides improvements therein.

The invention provides a clip of the character described which is readily manipulated in the operation of applying it around and removing it from a wrapper. It further provides a simple and readily manufactured device.

An embodiment of theinventon is illus` trated in the accompanying drawings, where- 1n Figure 1 is a plan View (with parts broken away) in the open position.
