IMPROVEMENT lN NURSERY-CRIBS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 181,713, dated August 29, 1876; application filed July 1, 1876.
To all whom it may concern: Be it known that-I, WILLIAM H. THOMP- soN, of Columbus, Franklin county, Ohio, have invented a new and Improved N ursery-Crib, of which the following is a specification:

The invention consists in making a crib in two divisions, hinged together and provided with rails, hinged as hereinafter described.
A is the bottom of the crib, which is carpeted and padded ata a on its upper surface, and is divided through the center and hinged at b, so as to be capable of folding together tact, as at c in Fig. 3. A railing, d efg, surrounds the bottom. The end piece 0 is hinged 'to side piece f at h h, so as to be capable of folding onto it, and is provided with a dowel, i, and.hookj, which engage with the end of the side piece d. The end piece 9 is hinged in a similar manner to the side d, and engages in the same way with the sidef. The sides d and fare hinged to the bottom at K. The
inside of the railing is cushioned at 1. Casters m are provided for convenience in moving the crib. The crib can be folded togetherby loosening the hook j and withdrawing the dowel z, and folding the end piece 0 on the side piece f, and by loosening the end piece 9, and folding it in the same way on side d. The sides d and f are now folded on the bottom, and the bottom folded on itself, as shown in Fig. 3.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters .Patent- A crib having two sides hinged to bottom, two sides hinged to the corner-posts, and two divisions hinged at I), as shown and described.
