To all whom, it may concern.-

Be it known that I, DAVID B. CHAPMAN, a

citizen of the United States of America, residing at Aurora, in the county of Kane and State of Illinois, have invented certain new and use- ;ful Improvements inFolding Horses; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full,

clear, and exact description of the invention,

which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to letters or figures of reference marked thereon, which form a My invention relates to certain new and useful improve'mentsin folding horse's, which are especially adapted for paper-hangers use or tother analogous purposes, the object thereof being to provide a portable horse or support which can be folded to occupy but small space;

and it consist-s in the construction and combination of the parts, as will be hereinafter fully set forth, andspecificallypointed out in the claim.

In practice the paper-hangers board is placed upon the upper edges of the cross-pieces B,and when not in use the parts can be folded so as to occupy but little vertical space, and when folded the end sections will be near each other, and the arm of a person can be placed around the center portion of the end sections,'so as to easily carry the horse I am aware thatprior to my invention it has been proposed to provide folding horses the partsf which have been jointed together so as to fold upon each other, and I do not claim the folding horse, broadly; but
