IMPROVEMENT IN MINERS' LAMPS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 171,675, dated January 4, 1876, application filed November 27, 1875.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JAMES C. MARSHALL, of Girardville, in the county of Schuylkill and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and Improved Miners Lamp, of which the following is a specification:
My invention consists of a spring, in combination with the book by which the lamp is hooked onto the hatto pinch the hat between it and the hook, to hold the hat securely when the miner is at work.
