SUSPENSORY.
Application filed January This invention relates to new and useful improvements in suspensories, and an object of the invention is to provide a suspensory including a pouch having a sanitary apron secured thereto, the apron and pouch having means for detachably securing them to a waistband whereby they may be readily removed .-destroyed, when necessary, and anew pouch and apron substituted therefor.
A further object of the invent-ion is to provide a suspensoryIcomprising a pouch having an apronsecured thereto and means for detachably securing them to a waistband and, further, havin leg straps connecting the rear portion of the pouch with the sides of the apron and cooperating with the waistband to retain the pouch and apron in proper position upon the body.
A furth r object of the invention is to provide a Suspensory coinprising a pouch having an apron secured thereto adapted to be detachably secured to a Waistband, and having means for detachably securing the a pron and pouch to the vvaistband, consisting of .a one-piece sheet-like semi-elastic member having oppositely extending tongues engage able .with slots in the apron and waistband to detachably secure the apron and pouch to the waistband, said member further having an elongated guide aperture in the upper port on thereof provided with an opening at one side through which the end portions of the waistband may be inserted thereinto.
A further object of this invention is to provide a suspensory having a one-piece member for detachably connecting the pouch and apron to the waistband.v
Other objects of theinvention reside in the construction of the one-piece, member for detachably connecting the apron and.

In the accompanying drawings there has been disclosed a structure designed to carry out the various objects of the invention, but it is to be understood thatnot confined to the exact features shown, as various changes may be made within the scope of the claims which follow.

The novel suspensory featured in this inance to buttonholes are provided in the revention comprises a pouch 6 having an apron inforced upper portion 1O of the pouch and apron to provide means for detachably s'ecuring it to the Waistband, as will subsequently be described. v 7 Legastraps 11 are provided; each having one end secured to the rear portion of the pouches at 12, and having their other ends sec d to the opposite edges of the apron 7'intermediately thereof as shown in Fig} ures 1 and 2. These straps are adapted to encircle the legs of the user to retain the pouch and apron in proper position upon the body. The'pouch 6 is preferably open at its rear porton, as shown in Figure 2, and has an opening 13 inthe forward portion thereof, as shown in Figures 1, 2 and l3.

In securing the suspensory to the body, the tongues 18 in the connecting member 17 will be inserted in the slots 9 in the upper portion of the apron and pouch, as shown at the right-hand side of Figure 5'. llhe re inforc-ed end portions 15 of the waistband 1 1 are then inserted in the guide aperture 19 and the tongues 18 inserted through the slots 16 as shown at the left-hand side of Figure 5 and in Figure 1. By the use of the memoer 17 the pouch and apron may be quickly secured to the waistband and by the provision of the slots 16 the Waistband may be adjusted tosuit the girth or Waist-line of the ,thereon for detachably connecting the pouch and apron to the'waistband, the portion of the suspensory' lying against the abdomen of the wearer will be comparatively smooth so that itwill not interfere with clothing, etc -and it will also be very comfortable to the wearer. Also bythe employment of this onespiece member for connecting the pouch and apron to the waistband, the use of buttons, snaps and buckles is dispensed with, which is of considerable advantage in pouch. and apron may quickly be removed from thewaistband when desired and a new pouch and apron substituted therefor.
I claim as my invention:
1. A suspensory,,comprising in combination an apron having slots therein, a pouch secured to said apron, a waistband for sunporting theapron and pouch upon the be .y, and a one-piece sheet like member for de tachably connecting the apron and pouch with thewaistband, said member comprising oppositely extending tongues engageable and having; ep ositely extending tongues engageable with the slots in the apron and the slots in the waistband for 'detachably and adjustably securing the apron and pouch to the waistband.

A suspensory, comprising in combination, an apron having slots therein, a pouch secured to said apron, a Waistband for supporting the pouch and apron upon the body, slots in the end portions of said waistband, a one-piece member for detachably connect inv the apron and pouch with the waistband, said member having oppositely extending tongues engageable with the slots in the apron and the slots in the Waistband for detachably and adjustably securing the apron and pouch to the waistband, and said member also having an elongated opening in its upper portion adapted to receive the ends of the Waist-band to provide guides therefor. 7
