' This invention relates to improvements in cuff links, the general object of the inventionbeingto make the shank of the link of rubber or the like so that it will stretch and thus enable the cuff of a shirt to be pulled over the hand of the wearer when putting on-the shirt or in taking it off, and the improved link will also act to hold the cover well up on the forearm of the user so that it will be out of the wayand the cover will be held in this of a sleeve holder.

This invention also consists in certain other features of construction and in the combination and arrangement of the several parts, to be hereinafter fullydescribed, illustrated in the accompanying drawings and specifically pointed out in the appended claim.

In describing my invention in detail, reference will be had to the accompanying drawings wherein like characters denote like or corresponding parts throughout the several views, and in which Figure 1 is a perspective view of a cuif link constructed 1n accordance with this invention.

.Thus it will be seen that the shank or piece which connects the two heads of the link together will stretch so that the cufl can pass over the hand of the wearer when he puts the shirt on or takes it ofl. The improved cufl' link will also act to take the place of sleeve holders, for as the cuff is pulled 'up the forearm, the shank will stretch and thus cause the cufi to grip the forearm so that it will not slip back over facilitate the passage of the heads through, the buttonholes.

It is thought from the foregoing description that the advantages and novel features of my invention will be readily apparent.

I desire it to be understood that I may make changes in the construction and in the combination and arrangement of the several parts, provided that such changes fall within'the scope of the appended claim.

'VVhat I claim is A cufl link comprising a member formed thereof, a metallic covering for said heads of rubber or similar material and comprising .a shank having a flat head at either end having its edges rebent to form a circular flange, and a radially split disk adapted to be received between the flange and the rubber head. v
