Referring to the drawings, and particu- 3 larlytol Figs. land 2, a hanger A'is' 'shown f secured toa molding 1 of usual form, which may be Secured to a wall 2. The hanger A may comprise a mounting 3 which is' preferably formed by folding a sheet 'metal blank along one longitudinal edge 4'aiid suitablyfsecuring tothe sides 5 and thus formed insulating material 7, such as ajstrip of impregnatedpaper, vulcanized fibre, rubber .impregnated fabric or other suitable strong material not electricallyconducting. The mounting 3 is preferably cut out at suitably spaced intervals 8 `and the linsulating strip 7 is similarly cut out to form hooks 9 from which1 for example, the antennae vor y other wires of radio or other electrical appa- 40 ratus inayconveniently be suspended. The number and position of insulated hooks 9 may of course vary as required as well as the manner of forming and securing them to the mounting 3. The sides and 6 preferably incline outwardly from the folded margin 4 and the outer end 'portion'slG-and 11 thereof may be bent inwardly to form flanges 12and 13 respectively, thereby providing parallel longitudinal channels 14 and 15. Of course', other means of attaching the tongue to:4 the blockcould be resorted to, but thefo'rm shown presents a simple` and inexpensive piece to 'manufacf ture. A spur 2 1v mayfbeprovided n'th'e face end 'of the tongue'19 adapted to'l'be forced, in this embodiment, 'betwe'enl'the molding 1 and wall so that the molding will not be marred. 'i' Y i Preferably aV screw 22'extends into the block 17 from the under Side and bears against the lower face of the tongue 19 and by adjusting the screw 22 against the lower face of the tonguethe spur 21 'may be forced tightly against the molding and thereby prevent the hanger from being accidentally detached from the molding. A modified form of the invention is shown in Figs. 3 and 4 in which the mountiiigB is .provided with reverse 'hooks 23 and 24,' the-hook 23 being adapted to'P engage the top of the molding 1 for supporting the hanger in depending position therefrom .ing
