One of the members, which may be termed'l the upright member,` is oi' inverted U-shapev in generaly contour, and has sid'eportions which are coiled as at 6, for a purpose` to be presently explained. Extending below the coiled portions 6 are portions 7 constituting legs,thc lower ends of which are adapted to rest upon the surface oni which the easel is pl`aced. Having thus described the` nature and characteristic features of my invention, what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is:

A display easel comprising two separablemembers vformed of bent wire', one of said members being adapted to be placed in an upright posit-ion, said upright member being substantially U-shaped in general contour and having side portions provided with coils and legportions extending below said coils, parts extending across between the upper ends of the side portions and provided with a coiled portion adapted to receive and support a tag. and a lower member also substantially U-shaped in general contour having side portions slidably mounted in theV coils in the side port-ions fof .the upright member, said side portions of'said lower member having' slightly upturned portions at the rear ends thereof, and a horizontal Vbar extending across between the front Vends of Vcoils in theside the side portions of the lower member, the arrangement being such that the extension ofv the front end of the lower member may be varied by sliding the side port-ions thereof in thecoils in `the side4k portions of the Vupright member.
