A further object is the provision of an inflatable toy having parts capable of ready assembly', Land arranged when assembled to permanently' stand in an upright position, l and to'land insuch position when pushed sidewis'e or thrown into the air.
`Inrthe accompanying"drawingA which illustrates my invention and forms a part-of this specification,
.Figure 1 is a front elevation of the complete toy,
Figure 2 is a side elevation thereof, w Figure 3 is an enlarged side view of thel inflated body,
Figure 4 ,is a plan viewI of the body band, Figure 5 lis a horizontal section through the body, and
Figure 6 is aV plan view of the base plate or support.
Referring now tothese figures, my invention proposes a toy having an inflatable body 10, preferably one which when inflated has a tail 11, adapted to be extended through the opening 12 of a fiat base plate or support 13 of suilieient proportions to hold the body in uprightposition when said plate rests uponj a flat supporting surface. The tail 11 is also.v extended through a weight ring 14. and may be tied or knotted below the plate 13 in order lete the connection.
It will be noted that the weight ring 14 affords an eifective seat for the inflated body 10 and also insures return of the light body to an upright position when pushed sidewise or thrown 1nto the air.
f the body 10 is to some extent at least immaterial, I have shown the same of elongated form with the tail at oney end, the body being adapted to be drawn in around the other end as by means of a tape.
