. IMPROVEMENT IN BLIND-STOPS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 159,620, dated February 9, 1875; application filed December 12, 1874.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, O. E. STELLER, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, have invented an Improvement in Blind-Stops, of which the following is a specification:

or represents a series of slats pivoted in a frame, 0, and connected with the opening and closing barb. h is a button having the cam 2', and pivoted on the frame 0, while j is a cornerplate fastened to bar I), and having the shoulder 7a, to prevent the button from turning in the wrong direction and the cam or eccentric from moving over the front plate. This corner-plate has also an extension, Z, to serve as a hand-knob. A slight pressure of the cam against-the side of bar 1) serves to hold it and the blinds in any desired position, While a tighter pressure makes the blind-slats stand so firm that no wind or storm can cause them to rattle.
Having thus described all that is necessary. to a full understanding of my invention, what I claim is- A blind-stop consisting of the cam-button i h and corner-plate j, having shoulder 70 and extension 1, applied in connection with frame 0, bar b, and slats a, as shown and described.
