The object of my invention is to provide a single combination garment which erforms the functions of two garments usua ly made separable and handled separately, thereby saving time and material 1n the making of the garments and saving time in putting on and taking off the combined that required in making or putting on and taking ofi two separate garments. I
In the drawings forming a part of this 29 applicationFig. 1 is a front view of my com-- bined garment. Fig. 2 is an enlarged detail showing a fragment of the back.
Referring to the drawings, 5 is the skirt and '6 the waist of a chemise of my improved garment which is cut to fit the wearer.
brassiere 7 of suitable cut is connected at the top to the top of the waist of the chemise, thereby making the top finishing seam the finishing seam -for bothgarments. 1- provide= an opening shown in Fig. 2 by full lines at 8 as being in the back of the gar ment, but it is obvious that the opening coul be in the front of the garment. The opening in the brassiere extends from the top to the bottom and the opening in the chemise extends from the top to a suitable distance in the skirt. The opening in the brassiere is provided with suitable fastening means, illustrated as hooks 9 at one side and eyes 10 at the other side. plete the garment. It will .be observed that the top hook and eye fastens the top of the brassiere and the chemise and the fastening of the remaining fasteners of the brassiere causes the closing of the waist of the chemise and the fastening of the lower fasteners of the chemise completes the fastening of'the garment on the wearer.
and then fastens the bottom fasteners of the chemise. If she wears a corset she then positions and fastens it under the brassiere,
after which she fastens the brassiere; there- -at their tops, and each having) an open-ing rassi re ex- -70,
