Be it known that I, GEORGE EUGENE BERTRAND, acitizen of the United States, residing in Minneapolis, in the county of Hennepin and State of Minnesota, have invented a new and useful KeyI-Iolder, of which the following is a specification.

My invention relates to improvements in key-ringholders ofthe type set'out inmy co-pending application filed February 28, 1921, Serial Number 448,639.

Its object is to provide an improvedfdevice of this nature including a hook for detachably receiving a key-ring and a second hook for suspending"thestructure from the waist band, or other. part of a wearers clothing;

8; In a device; of the class described, a resilient metallic shank havingv a hook` including a shank With re-l turned back therefrom for supporting the device, a second hook applied to-said shank for removably receiving and securing a ring or other object, a hood having front and rear iaps covering said shank, said hood having a slot at the top thereof through which said supporting hook is projected, means on said shank engaging the rear flap 0f the hood, and means at the upper end of the shank engaging beneath the top of the hood and co-operating with said flap engaging means to secure the hood upon the shank, also to reinforce the top of the hood and lend permanent shape thereto, said flaps being joined at one side beneath the top of the hood, the` front flap being separable medially to permit the application of said shank.

9. In a device of the class described, a resilient: metallic shank having a hook turned back therefrom for supporting the device, a second hook on 'said shank for removably receiving a ring or other object, a hood having front and rear flaps covering said shank, said-hood having a slot at the top thereof through which said supporting hook is projected, means on said shank engaging the rear flap of the hood, and means at the upper end of the shank engaging beneath thestop of the hood and co-operating with said flap engaging means to secure the hood upon the shank, also to reinforce the top of the hood and lend permanent shape thereto. 10. In a device of the class described, a shank having a lip turned back from the top thereof to provide a'supporting hook, said shank being formed with an upper eye,

a lower eye and a latching lug beneath said j bent upward upon itself to form a` ring receiving hook and thence bent back to form a Vring guard Lat the mouth of the hook beneath the loop, said loop providing a thumbpiece for the user in releasing a ring from engagement with said ring guard.
