siding at 'VVhitestone Landingf county of Queens, my and State of NewYork', have invented a new and useful Convertible Garvmentfof which the following 'is aspecifica' tion.. i
My invention relates to a dress which can be readily converted into a bloomer suit and vice versa.
The main object is to provide a simple and inexpensive construction which is suscepti'ble of embodiment in varied and at-' furcated portions. drawn together to form bloomers.
Fig. 1 is a front view of a garment embodying my invention showing it in the form of aldress.
Fig.2 is a rear view of the same.
Fig. 3 is a front view showing the panel partly detached and the garment isprovided with a similar panel 13 and fastening devices 14 and Y15 for device however may be employed within the Fig. 4 is a front view showing the garment in the form of a bloomer suit.
The garment may be of anv suitable dee sign or material either in one piece or two pieces having a waist 6 and a skirt 7. The lower portion of the skirt is bifurcated or divided at the front and. rear to provide what may be termed leg portions 8 with openings 9 betweenthem at the front and rear. A panel 10 is also provided and preferably secured at the-waist and adapted to hang down front and entirely cover the front opening 9. I alsoprefer to provide suitable fastening means for securing the side edges of the panel to the skirt, as for instance a plurality of loops 11 and buttons; Any other suitable form of fastening broad scope of my invention. The rear of securing its lower portion to'the rear of the skirt along the edges of therear opening 9. It shouldfialso be noted that,
