Figure 2 is a sectional view through the case, the case being in a closed condition.
Figure 3 is a fragmental detail view disclosing the manner of locking the powder or rouge containers within the case.
Figure 4 is a sectional'view through the container taken at right angles to Figure 2.
Figure 5 is a fragmental sectional view disclosing the manner of securing the powder and rouge supporting plate.
Figure 6 is a fragmental sectional view disclosing the manner of securing the tray to the case, and I Figure 7 is a fragmental sectional view disclosing the manner of securing the mirror within the cover of the case.
Referring to the drawings in detail, the reference character 5 indicates the lower section of the case to which the cover 6 is hingedly connected, the cover 6 and lower section 5 being curved in such a way that a container is provided, when the sections are brought together.
Extensions 7 forma part of the cover 6 and are bent around the hinge pin 8, the extremities thereof cooperating with the under surface of the cover 6 to support the mlrror 9 which extends the entire length of the cover 6.
At the forward end of the cover are clips 10 that extend downwardly and engage under the mirror 9, the clips being riveted or otherwise secured to the cover 6 as at 11. The securing members 11 also extend through the spring catch 12 that cooperates with the shoulder 13 to hold the cover in a closed position.
The lower section 5 or body portion of the container is divided with the partition 14 defining a pair of compartments 15 and 16 respectively. Hingedly connected to the hinge pin 8 is a plate 17 that is formed with a pair of openings to accommodate the rouge and powder boxes indicated at 18.
The powder boxes are provided with spaced enlargements 19 thatmove within the openings 20 formed in the plate 17 to allow the boxes to be slightly rotated, to positions as shown by Figure 2 of the drawings, where the boxes are securely locked against displacement.

The hinged plate 24 is disposed in the compartment 15 and is provided with down-- wardly and inwardly extending flanges 25 and 26, formed along the side edges thereof, the flange tion 14 when the plate is in a position as shown by Figure 4 of the drawings, 50 that the plate will be supported in spaced relation with the lower wall of the container. The flange 25 cooperates with the flange 26 at the opposite side of the plate to provide guideways for the flanges 27 forming a part of the trays 28, so that the trays may be moved to and from positions under the plate 24. These trays may be used for retaining various elements, such as hair pins, pins or the like.
What is claimed is t 1. An article carrier comprising hinged sections, a partition in one of the sections dividing the section into lateral compart- 25 contacting with the partisection.

An article carrier comprisinghinged sections, a partition in one of the sections dividing the sections into lateral compartments. a hinged plate in each compartment, one of said plates having-openings to. accommodate boxes, the opposite plate having inwardly extended flanges, a tray having lateral flanges cooperating with the inwardly extended flanges, to support the tray and permit the tray to slide with respect to its supporting plate, and a clasp for holding the sections together.
4. An article carrier comprising hinged sections, plates in one of the sections, one of the plates having openings, each of the openings having an o ening in the Wall thereof, boxes supported by the plate, each box having a pair of spaced lugs, said lugs adapted to move in the openings, and be r0- tated to bring the walls of the openings between the lugs to lock the boxes within the openings, and means for holding the sections together.
