IMPROVEMENT IN IRON FENCES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent. No. 146,762, dated JaLnaly 27,1874; application ilen May 17, 1873.
.To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, DAVID C. GUTTRIDGE and AARON BOLANDER, of Akron, in the State of Ohio, have invented a Fence, oi' which the following is a speciication:
Our invention consists of a peculiar novel link or links, with a lap-j oint and other devices in combination therewith, all of which will be more fully described hereafter.
ln the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 represents a portion ot our fence, the links C being made of cast-iron. Figs. 2 and 3 are detached views.
Both the upper and the lower links C, Fig.`

Each link C is cast with a horizontal stein, B, so that a lap-joint, E, is formed by putting the links together, as shown in Figs. 1, 2, and 3.
