2. In a supporter, the combination 'oit two elastic parallel strands` a pocket there-ier open as to its longitudinal side margins,-

formed by two plies of flexible material, a garment engaging device, means tor establishing operative relationship between the elastic strands and the garment engaging device, means for maintaining the strands in said parallel relationship, and means tornn ing a` guide for maintaining the ystrands within the margins ot the pocket.

3. In a supporter, the combination ot two elastic parallel strands, a pocket therefor open as to its longitudinal side margins, formed by two plies of flexible material, a

garment engaging` device, means for estab-V lishing operative relationship between the elastic strands and the garment engaging device, and means for connecting the plies together vat a point between the parallel vstrands vto form a guide for maintaining the strands within the pocket.

In a supporter, the combination of two elastic 'parallel strands, a pocket therefor open as to its longitudinal side margins, formed by two plies ot flexible material, a `garment engaging` device, means for establishing operative relationship between the lastic strands and the garment engaging device, means for connecting` the plies together at a point Abetween the parallel strands to 'form a guide 'tor maintaining; the strands withinfthe pocket, and a yoke 'for movable connection with the strands to maintain them in parallel relationship, hav-` ing its intermediate portion in loop formation to permit its stranden-gagging ends to pass the point of connection of the plies.

5 In a supporter, the combination of two elastic parallel strands, a pocket therefor open as to its longitudinal side margins, termed by two plies of lexible material, a o* 'ment engaging;` device, means for estabil operative relationship between the elastic strands and the garment engaging device, means for conneating,` the plies together atV al point between the parallel strands to iform a guide for maintaining the strands wit-hin the pocket, and a yoke for movable connection with the strands to maintain them in parallel relationship, having its intermediate portion recessed to permit its strand-engaginga ends to pass the point ot connection of the plies.
