Specification of Letters Patent.

also serve to maintain the crease 1n the trousers.
A further object of my invention is to provide a device of the class mentioned of such construction that a uniformity of pres sure will be maintained throughout the length of the presser arms thereof and in which said uniformity of pressure will be maintained indefinitely and not become unequal due to constant use of the device. Other objects will appear hereinafter.
With these objects in view, together with others which will appear as the description proceeds, my invention resides in the novel arrangement and combination of parts, all as will-be more fully described hereinafter, and particularly pointed out in the claims. 7
My invention will be more readily understood by reference to the accompanying drawings forming a part of this specification, in which,
Figure 1 is a side elevation of a presser supporter embodying my invention in its preferred form. Fig. 2 is an edge view of the same and, Fig. 3 1s a view illustrating the same applied to the leg of the trousers.
Referring particularly to the drawings the device is formed of a single piece of Wire bent at the center to form a spring ring or loop 1 and a pair of diverging spring arms 22. The arms 2 are bent upon themselves forming the stretcher arms 3-3 and the ends are bent inwardly forming the pressure releasing arms 4-4. The ends of the arms 4 are formed with eyes 5-5 embracin the spring arms 2, upon which they are sli ably mounted.
In using the device 1 is compressed and inserted in the' bottom of the legs of the trousers and allowed to expand. The arms 33 engage the trousers and form or main tain the crease in the lower portion of the leg. Suflicient force for this purpose is im parted through the ring 1 and arms 2 and this pressure is equalized throughout the length of the arm 3 by means of the pressure equalizing arms 4 which connect the outer ends of the arms 3 with the spring arms 2. After the device is inserted in the trousers the whole may be suspended by means of the rin 1.
Having described my invention what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is.
1. A device of the class described formed of a single piece of wire bent at the center to form a spring ring, diverging spring arms, a pair of stretcher arms and a pair of pressure equalizing arms connecting the free ends of the stretcher arms and said spring arms, substantially asdescribed.
2. A device of the class described formed of a single piece of wire bent at the center to form a spring ring, bent intermediate its ends to form a pair of spring arms and a pair of stretcher arms and again bent toward the ends to form a pair of pressure equalizin arms, the ends of the wire being bent to orm eyes embracing and slidably mounted upon the spring arms, substantially as described.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specification in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
