The invention is particularly described in the following specification, reference being made to the drawings by which it is accompanied, in which:
Fig. 1 is a side elevation of the brush and comb as closed when out of use, the dot and dash lines indicating the extension of the comb from the brush when either part is to,

Fig. 2is an end view of Fig. l, and
Fig. 3 is a modified form showing the application of two combs to a wider brush.
In these drawings 2 represents the back or body of the brush having preferably one row of bristles 3 on each side of a medial channel 4 which extends lengthwise of the brush from adjacent one end to the other' open end.
Through the open end of this channel t the back 5 of the comb is endwise slidable, being retained on pins 6 secured in the back of the brush through a lengthwise slot 7 in the'back 5 of the comb.
The teeth 8 of the comb are preferably slightly within the depth of the bristles 3 and whenclosed to its limit in'the brush the end of the comb projects slightly and is provided with a nail engagement 9 by which the comb may be withdrawn for use.
Figure 3 shows a modified form wherein the brush has two or more rows of bristles two combs 5 are independently slidable, side by side, which combs may have fine and coarse teeth respectively.
