This invention relates to improvements in safety envelops.

The object of this invention is to improve the construction of safety envelops so as to provide an envelop capable after once being sealed of not being opened without detection. Y

A still further object of this invention is to provide an envelop so constructed as to provide the sealing ap with means whereby the envelop may be readily opened by an authorized person. n n

A still further object of this invention is to improve the construction of safety en-v velops and to provide theenvelop with a sealing ap which, when sealed and the stamp applied thereto, is held sealed and 4against opening by .an unauthorized person without detection. Y

A still further object of this invention is toV provide a safety envelop having a sealing flap which is equipped with a novel opening strip, which strip is so relnforced as to render it capable of being readily opened in a quick and'reliable manner.

A still further object of this invention is Vto provide an envelop of this .character,

which will be simple, practical and comparatively inexpensive in construction and one that can-be manufactured and sold ata low cost. 1

lVith these and other objects in view, the invention consists in the novel combination and arrangement of parts hereinafter more fully described and set forth in the claims hereto appended. l

In operation or use, the side flaps 9 are folded inwardly on the line 19 and the edges of the side flaps 9 overlap and the adhesive 12 is moistened and sealed to the upper side of the `other side flap, as illustrated in Fig.
