To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ANNIE H. BROWN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Homestead, in the county of Dade and State of Florida, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in lee-Holders; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
This invention relates to ice holders, and has for its primary object to provide asimple and etlicient holder particularly designed for use upon a dining table for hold 7 ing cracked ice,
Another object is the provision of an ice holder embodying means for containing the water which drips from the melted ice contained in the holder.
With these and other objects in view, the invention consists in the novel construction, combination and arrangement of parts as will be hereinafter specifically described, claimed and illustrated in the accompanying drawing, in which:

Fig. 2 represents a horizontal sectional View on the line 2-2 of Fig. 1.
Referring to the drawing in detail, wherein similar reference numerals designate corresponding parts throughout the several views, the numeral 5 indicates generally a liquid container, preferably constructed of metal and suitably ornamented to present an attractive appearance. The container 5 includes a side wall, bottom 6 and an inwardly directed horizontally disposed flange 7 carried by the upper edge of the side wall. As clearly illustrated in Fig. 1, the container 5 is supported in spaced relation to the upper surface of a table by supporting legs 8 secured to or formed inte gral with the bottom 6.
The ice holder, designated generally by the numeral 9, is constructed of any suitable material and is inverted frusto-conical in shape, the upper or relatively large end thereof being formed to present an artistic appearance. The lower or relatively small end of the ice holder 9 projects into the container 5 and is supported upon the inwardly directed flange 7. A section of screen 10 is secured in the lower end of the holder 9 and is designed to prevent the ice contained in said holder from dropping into the container 5, and also to permit the water melted from the ice to drip into the container 5.
A water container 11 is arranged in any desired position with relation to the container 5 and below the latter and includes a body 12, having an opening in the upper portion thereof to facilitate access to the body. The opening in the upper portion of the bodv 12 is closed by a door 13, hinged at 13 and provided with a suitable type of lock 13 The water container 11 is con nected with the container 5 by a pipe line 14, which latter is connected at one end to the lower portion of the container 5 and at its opposite end to the upper portion of the container 11, whereby the cold Water contained in the container 5 is conducted to the container 11. A faucet 15 is connected with the lower portion of the container 5, whereby the contents of the latter may be drawn for drinking or other purposes.
What I claim is:
1. A crushed-ice holder for table use in cluding a liquid container having an inwardly directed flange at the up er end thereof, supporting legs for the container. an inverted frusto-conical ice holder supported upon the flange, and a screen section secured in the lower end of said holder.
2. In combination, a water container, means for supporting. said container in elevated position, a second water container, a pipe connecting the lower portion of the first-mentioned container with the upper portion of the second mentioned container. an ice holder supported in the first mentioned container and having an open lower end communicating with the latter, a screen section secured in the lower end of the ice holder and a faucet connected with the lower part of the second mentioned container to facilitate dispensation of the contents thereof.
