Secured upon the shortportion of the L-shaped support 11 is the alcohol lamp 12 above Which is positioned the burner l3earrying the supporting ring 14%- upon which is p'ositionedthe Water tank '15, it being understood that the burner 13 is properly connected to and carried by the lamp The Water tank 15 has a suitable spigot 16 connected therewith for drawing off the contents of said tank, it being understood that when the traveler desires to heat the contents of the tank 15, it is'simply necessary for him to light the burner 13. A. connecting and conducting tube 17 extends from the tank 15 to a receptacle 18 which is so constructed that it may serve as either atea pot or coffee pot and the flow of liquid from the tank 15 may be readily controlled by means of the valve 19 positioned in the tube 17. The receptacle 18 is also provided with a spigot 20 by meansofwhich it may be drained of its contents. It will be clearly apparent that when the pins 24 are in the long portion of the l shaped slots 26, the pins may bereadily moved in the curved slots 27 to place the l.-

It will further be evident that when the halves l andQ are unlocked and open to their fullest extent, as shown in Fig. 4:, thepartition 8 may be thrown over upon the compartments 6 and 7 oftbe half 1 to serve the purpose of a table.- It will likewise be apparent that when the meal is over the support 11- may be returned to its position within the compartment 10,.the various articles-returned to their respective compartments and the suit case closed and locked.

What-I claim is 2-- 1. In a device of the character described. a case consisting of two substantially equal rectangular sections hinged together, a heating device, an L-shaped support onto which the heat ing device is secured, one of the case sect-ions having slots in' opposite walls thereof, certain of the slots being arcuate, saidlL-shaped support having means extending into the slots whereby said support may be guided and supported substantially as shown and specified.
