To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, ANTHONY J. PRENO- sin, a citizen of the United States, residing at Dwight, in the county of Butler and State of Nebraska, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Containers for Mucilage, of which the following is a specification.

This invention relates to containers, and more particularly to a container for mucilage and the like.

One of the main objects of the invention is to provide a device of the character stated so constructed as to prevent gumming of the mouth of the container such as occurs in the ordinary glue or mucilage bottle.

A further object is to provide a container having a closure member so constructed and mounted as to act as a supplemental container when in operative position.

Further objects will appear from the detailed description.

The under front wall of this member is inclined downward and inward at an angle, as at 1". The bottom 2 is made much thicker than the rest of the body of the container so as to provide sufficient weight to maintain the container in upright position and avoid tilting of the same.

The container is provided with an integral upwardly extending neck 3. A U strip 4 of metal is secured about the upper end of this neck. In this position the concave adapted to receive and temporarily retain mucilage which is caused to flow from the container by tilting the same forward and downward. What I claim is:

1. In containers, a body having an up wardly and outwardly inclined neck and 95 front wall, and a concaved supplemental container mounted at the upper edge of the front wall of the body and forming a continuation thereof whereby, when the body is tilted inward the contents thereof will 109 flow into said supplemental container, and when the body is returned to its normal position the contents of said supplemental container will drain back into the said body.

2. 3.
