platform 15, while the stem 31 of the looking element projects through said bore and by reason of its engagement'with the adja cent side wall of the frame 10, the locking element is held in the depression 30 of the standard and prevents casual rotation of the latter. To prevent movement of'th'e rack longitudinally of the base 10, I provide the lower walls of the slots 11 adjacent the opposite extremities thereof with depressions 32, which are alternately engaged bythe rollers 14 to hold the rack as a unit at either end of the casing 10 in its adjusted position.

. In practice the rack can be easily moved longitudinally of the frame 10 to position the rack exteriorly of the caseA, in which position of parts the stem 32 of the locking element is brought into alinement with the opening 33 in the adjacent side wall of the frame 10. The rack can then-be easilyrotated, by rotating the standard 18, the curved wall of the depression 30 cooperating with the rounded or curved surface of the head of the locking element to force the latter out of the depression 30, which movement of the locking element is permitted by the opening 33 which receives the stem 32 when the locking element is adjusted to a released position. Manifestly the stem 32 of the locking element is held within the opening 33 while the standard is being rotated, and in which position the stem 32 functions to prevent movement of the rack as a unit longitudinally of the frame 10. \Vhen the standard has been rotated to bring the depression 30 into alinement with the bore 26,

the locking element assumes its normal posi tion, subsequent to which the rack as a unit canbe. moved within the case A. It is or course to be understood that one or more racksQO may be mounted upon the standard 18 if desired, and that the component parts of the device may vary in design without departing from the spirit of the invention..

' If desired the rack proper indicated at 20 may be suspended from the top of the case or cabinet A as clearly illustrated in Fig. 1. In this instance a partition F is disposed immediately beneath the top of .the cabinet in spaced relation thereto, and a frame 34: identically of the same construction as the frame 10 hereinabove described and its assoeiated parts, is interposed between the partition F and the top of the cabinet.- Arranged upon the platform 35 is a fiange'36 suitably grooved to receive ball bearings 37 which are held in the groove by means of a flanged collar 38 keyed upon the standard 39, which latter enters the frame through a hollow boss 10 forming part of the flange 36 and dependingthrough a suitable opening in the platform 35.
