IRENE MILLER, or OORTLANDVILLE, NEW YORK.
IMPROVEMENT IN STOVE'PLATFORMS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 122,631, dated January 9, 1872.
I, IRENE MILLER, of the town of Oortland- Ville, in the county of Cortland and State of New York, have invented certain Improvements in Platforms for Stoves, of which the following is a specification:
Figure 1 is a perspective View of the platform.v Fig. 2 is a section of the leg through the Wheel.
a is a frame, of Wood or iron, and made to conform in shape and size to the bottom plate of the stove. b b are the legs to this frame, which may be permanently attached to the frame or held`by lugs upon the under side of the frame in the ordinary Way that stoVe-legs are held to the bottom of the stove. The leg b -is made with a socket, o, Fig. 2, into which fits loosely the spindle d, in the lower part of which is the wheel' f, it being the ordinary form of the caster. O is a set-scrcw passing through forth.
