The separating movementof the base members collapses the holder end members and their closing movement swings them to their verected position. In the modification shown in Fig.- IV my improvements are shown embodied in a structurehaving anon-adjustable base and in that structure the' holders are not pivotally 'connected to the base. The holders are supported in their erected position by thelatch 25 pivotally mounted on one end member and notched to engage the pin 26 on the other.
I preferably. provide the end members of the holders. with guides 27 with which the notches of the sheets'may be engaged to associate in alining the sheets with the binding strips. l

I have illustrated and described my iniprovements in two embodiments.
