This invention relates to an improved safety razor and it refers to razors of-the kind in which the handle consistsof a resilient" member or members. As distinguished from other razors ofthetype just referredto, in which the handle-forming members have to be wholly or partly detached from the blade holder in-order tobe present invention has for itsobject to provide a razor having resilient handleforming members, which are so constructed-and arranged that they do not require to be detached from the blade holder for packing or when same is to be placedin its case. In the razor according to the presentinvention and in the preferred form, I employ a, holder of the usual comblike con .figuration and to which holder the blade may be secured in any convenient mannen.

Formed integral with the bladeholder and located one at each end, preferably in the center thereof, are two extensions of suitable width and of such thickness that they are sufiiciently resilient to permit them to be flexed to occupy the desired positions. The extensions are bent or turned inward,

and at their adjacent ends they are slotted or otherwise shaped so that the said ends may be connected or interlocked to render them sufliciently rigid to serve asa handle.

In order that the invention may be the better understood, drawings are appended in which Figure 1 is ,a plan of the razor showing the handle members in the position for use. Fig. 2 is a side view. Fig. 3 is an end view.

Formed integral with the holder at and disposed one at each end thereof are extensions 6 preferably of the outline shown, and which extensions are of such thickness, either locally or throughout their length, as to render them sufliciently resilient to be flexed or bent without breaking.
