IMPROVEMENT IN COMBINED i TOOLS.
The 'Schedule referredto in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.
To all whom it may concern:
Beit known that I, JOHN W. GURRIER, of Newbury, in the county vof Orange and State of Vermont, have invented a new and improved Combined Tool; and I do herebyrdeclare the following to be a full,
' clear, and, exact description of the same, reference Which'orices form the nest of wrenches.

The whole instrument, with the exception of the screw-driver and pivots Aof the lever, is made of malleable iron.
The rear end of' the lever g is made with a bayoneti point, j, to serve the purpose of an v awl for making holes in leather and other substances, and the rear end of the lever e is made' with a cavity, tf,- and with a sharp edge, l, which answer for making eyelets, a slot, Je, being formed at the base of thev cavity to let out the severed pieces.
' Across the contiguous faces of' the -leverse g are made grooves, m, with sides parallel to each other, which grooves adapt the two levers to the unscrewing of the nuts of carriage-hubs.
Having thus described my invention,
What I- claim as new, and desire to se'cure by Let- The combination in one instrument of a hammer, nail-puller, pliers, wrench, screw-drivel', nest of wrenches, awl, and eyeI'et-niaker, as specified.
