The purpose of this invention is to provide close-fitting and eomfortable underarments or drawersfor ladies* wear and to this end the garment is made in the general form of a bag closed at the bottom, with leg openings at the opposite vertical edges and having' an open top ada ited 'to eneircle the 'aist of the weare T e open to will be equpped with an e hetic elosure o suitable Construction, or with draw-strings, tapes or similar levi'eS,',\vl1er'eby the garment may be supported from' thenvaist of the wearer and yet easily and quickly lowered or removed whenever desred. i
leferring to the drawings, Fi'gnre 1 illustrates an elevation of a garment embodying the invention viewed from the front; Fig. 2 illust'ates the same garment viewed from the front and showing' the position it as sumes upon the body of the wearer when in the garment. It is made of such fabrie as desired and in the general form of a bag having a closed bottom, as at 2, and an open top, as at 3. A' number of advantages are Secured by duced. All buttons or equivalent fasteners are eliminated. The garment automatically the Construction described. The cost'is readjusts itself'to the body fornation of the wearer without any drawing or straining, hence comfort is Secured to a marked degree and all parts of the pelvc region of the we'arer are cover-ed by the eontinuous baglike garment thus seeuring warmth and generally hygienic conditions.
