Be it 'known that I, MICHAEL HoMmNe,

a citizen of the United States, residing at- Buhl, in the county of Twin Falls and State of Idaho, have invented new and useful Improvements in Undergarments, of which'the following is a specification.

This invention relates to undergarments and more particularly to combination gar- 1 ments, which include shirts and drawers.

vAn object of the present invention is to eliminate the objectionable binding at the crotch, sometimes through tightness, or insuflicient length of the garment between the shoulders and the crotch and yet have the garment fit sufficiently snug to be comfortable. For this purpose, the invention aims to rovide a garment which embodies an ad- Justable crotch strip, which may be removably and adjustably secured'to the garment between the legs, so as to obtain any adjustment suitable to the wearer.

With the above and other objects in view, the invention further includes the following'novel features and details of construction, to be hereinafter more fully described, illustrated in the accompanying drawings and pointed out in the appended claim. In the drawings: Figure l is a front elevation of a combination undergarment constructed in accordance with the invention.

Figure 2 is a rear elevation of the same.

Referring to' the drawin in detail,

The garment may be made of any suitable material and of any character desired, that is, it may be of the athletictype, or

- may include long sleeves and legs.

In carrying out the invention, the inseam of the drawer legs is open from the crotch downward for an appreciable distance and is closed by a crotch strip 12. This strip extends from the front to the rear of the garment between the legs and is adjustably held in place so as to regulate the length .50 of the garment from the shoulders to the knees, or in other words, raise or lower the crotch. For this purpose, the garment is provided both front and back Witha double row of buttons13, .while the crotch strip 12 is provided along'each-side edge with button holes 14:, so that'the strip may be raised or lowered as desired. This provides a wide latitude 'of adjustment and permits the adjustment tobe so'made as to provide additional space either at the'front or rear, to suit the wearer.

The invention is. susceptible of various 1 changes in its form, proportions and minor details ofconstruction and the right is here- I in reserved to make such changes as properly' fall within the scope of the appended claim.
