General Description..

A is the lentof the worker, towhichare attached the-works.

B, the cover, which incloses the works.

C, the leaf of the worker, fastened tothe blind and slipped onto the `pintle, 4which is square at the top.

D, the pintle.

E, slotted piece.

F, middleV connection-piece, one `end of it connected 'to the pintle by :L rivet, and `the other end to slotted piece G, crank, with a square hole in its shank, into which ts the shaft H.

I, crank-pin', which tits in slot K npiece E.

L, projections on pintle D, which rests on piece E, and prevents the pintley from being turnedtoo far back. l i

The operation of this worker is to turn the shaft -H, :uid-the cmn'kpin I `will move piece E, andthe blind will be kopenedjor closed, as desired.
