This invention relates to a support-ing piece or combination vof pieces of moderate projection generally springing froma vertical surface, and particularly to proJecting metal pieces fastened to a wallor.` other surt. face,`as a support for some obJect, andprovided with self-acting clamping devices constructed and arranged to support rods "or 'other'supporting devices.4 t
