This invention relates to cabinets and i has for its object to provide an improved struction, arrangement'and combination of parts as hereinafter described and as shown in the accompanying drawings, in which similar reference characters indicate similar parts, and in which,

Referring specifically to the drawings, the casing or body of the cabinet comprises sides 11, back 12, bottom 20 and a table top 6, the front being open to form a door-way. Horizontally swinging doors 10 are hinged to the front edges of the respective sides 11 and a door 14 is mounted to swing vertically to the front edge of a bottom 20 by hinges 15. The doors 10' when swung inward are adapted to pass between the top and bottom to close the doorway and the door 14 when swung upward is arranged to swing over the doors 10 and front edges of the sides 11 and under the top 6. A catch? 16 carried by the free end of the door 14 is adapted to snap into the socket 9 on the front edge of the top 6 to retain the doors in closed or folded position.

An extension 5 is mounted to' one side of the table top 6 by means of the hinges 8 to lie in the plane of the table top when opened and which is of a size to fit neatly over the table top when folded thereon. Eyes 7 are disposed at the front and rear edges of theextension 5 near the free end thereof and a hook 17 is carried by the free end of the door 14 which is adapted to engage the eye on the front side of the extension upon the door and extension being Fig. 2 is a vertical folded to retain the parts in position. A supplemental hook I 7 is also provided-at the rear of the cabinet to engage the eye on the rear end of the extension 5. Ahandle 21 1s secured to the outer face of extension 5 and serves as a means for carrying the cabinet when folded.

This cabinet when folded or closed is compact in construction and may be readily carried or conveyed about.

A plurality of trays or tills 18, 18", 18", and 18" are hinged'to,the respectiveinner and outer edges on the inner sides of the door 10 by hinges, 19, 19", 19 and 19, respectively, and are all arranged in different horizontal planes. These trays have perforated bottoms for convenience in sterilizing the instruments held in the trays or tills. The trays or tills hinged to the outer edges of the doors 10 may be swung when the doors are being closed to prevent their striking the opposite door and they can be convemently swung when the doors are open for convenience in selecting the in struments therefrom or replacing the in-' struments therein. The cabinet as provided in this construcitio-n is simple and substantial and is convenient in use. The body, doors and extension are all preferably made of wood and the cabinet has a neat appearance and when closed is dust proof. ed together the cabinet may be conveniently carried or conveyed about and is compact in construction, and whenever desired the same can be readily opened for use.

What is claimed is 1. In a cabinet of the character described, a casing having its front open to form a doorway, horizontally swinging doors hinged to the front edges of the sides of the casing and adapted to swing between the top and bottom to close the doorway, trays hinged to the outer edges of the said doors on the inner sides thereof, the said trays projecting into the paths of the opposite doors, whereby the said doors are required to be opened and closed simultaneously, a

vertically swinging door hinged to the front hinged to the outer and inner edges of the said doors on the inner sides thereof, the

trays hinged to the, inner edges being adaptlhus when fold-V ed to fit between the sides of the casing and the said doors when the doors are closed to prevent the excessive inward movement of the doors, and the trays hinged to the outer edges projecting into the paths of the opposite-doors, whereby the saiddoors are required to be opened and closed simultaneously, a vertically swinging door hinged-to the front edge of the bottom and adapted to swing over the said doors and the front edges of the sides of the casing and under the top thereof, and means carried by the front edge of the top of the casing and the free end of the latter door to retain the said door in closed position.

3. In a cabinet of the character described, a casing haying its front open to form a doorway, horizontally swinging doors hinged to the front edges of the sides of the casing and adapted to swing between the top and so bottom to close the doorway, trays hinged to the inner edges of the said doors on the inner sides thereof, the said trays being adapted to fit between the sides of the casing and the said doors when the doors are closed to prevent the excessive inward movement of the doors, a vertically swinging door hinged to the front edge of the bottom and adapted to swing over the said doors and the front edges of the sides of the easing and under the top thereof, and means for retaining the vertically swinging door in closed position.
