To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HENRY Cleveland, in the county of Guyahoga, State of Ohio, have invented a new and useful Car-Coupler, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being'had to the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure l is a plan View partly in horizontal section, of a coupler embodying my invention; Fig. 2 is a side elevation partly in section. v
In the drawings 2 represents the head of a coupler, 3 is the knuckle.
The parts of the coupler to which my invention relates are as follows: The shank of the coupler is hollow and has at its sides vertical shoulders 11.
14: are bosses on the inner faces of the sides of the shank and 12 are horizontal bolt holesextending through the bosses and the sides of the shank.
