Abstract

The invention relates to a method for sowing safflower and applying fertilizers including presowing soil cultivation, forming of seed furrow beds at different levels and separate distribution of flows of seeds and fertilizers formed separately along surface thereof with the further covering with soil layer. Prior to sowing the seed loosening of the soil is carried out in the area of each row spacing narrowed up to . In addition, in centre thereof a fertilizer bed is formed at two levels, in particular as a deep vertical slot at the lower level and as two equi-inclination side slots, branched from above-mentioned slot, provided with three equidistant furrows at the bottom-bed at the upper level. The minimum fertilizer rate is delivered onto said furrows onto upper level thereof by two similar flows directed oppositely concentrating along the horizontal lines proportionally to the thickness of saturating the soil layers with the root system. The maximum fertilizer rate is delivered onto the lower level as a single flow, and seed distribution is carried out into separate furrows of double-row bands of in width according to staggered order. The moist soil layer above the sown seed is compacted that allows obtaining larger yields of safflower and other tilled crops and of better quality.
