Abstract

The cosmetic gel comprises carbopol, germaben II or dimol-P, glycerol or propylene glycol, sodium hydroxide or triethanoamine, the odorant, and the purified water. In addition, the gel comprises the extracts of the chestnuts and the common comfrey.

Description

The proposed useful model relates to the perfumery and cosmetic industry, namely to the production of biostimulating gels for effective body skin care.

The main function of cosmetics for skin care consists in maintaining the normal physiological state of cells of skin tissue, including the normalization of metabolic processes, including water-salt balance, protecting the skin from the adverse effects of environmental factors, eliminating defects of damaged skin tissue by activating regenerative processes.

Creams for people who lead an active lifestyle have become very popular. Cosmetic products are used both for the prevention of microcirculation disorders, tissue trophicity, metabolism, and inflammatory processes, as well as for emergency care in the event of shocks, injuries, muscle pain, fatigue, and nervous disorders.

Along with a large number of cream compositions, much less attention is paid to gel compositions for the skin.

At the same time, gels in some cases have advantages over creams. Gels actively moisturize the skin, maintaining its elasticity. Gels with plant extracts tone the skin. Due to the absence of fatty components, the active ingredients of the gel quickly penetrate the skin. Gels are easy to apply without leaving a shine.

The well-known gel-balm is an effective remedy for various types of skin burns (Viktoria LLC, a Ukrainian manufacturer of medical cosmetics). Balm for burns includes extracts of medicinal herbs: comfrey, calendula, mother-and-stepmother, arnica. The unique formula quickly restores skin functions in case of thermal, household and sun burns, prevents the appearance of secondary infections, activates reparative (restorative) processes in the skin aimed at combating age-related changes.

There is "Comic bone ointment", its use strengthens ligaments and small muscles by restoring the strength and elasticity of collagen and elastic fibers. It can be used both for acute injuries and chronic injuries.

The well-known "Anti-varicose balm" gel (VY, Me2203037 cl. Ab1K7/48, dated 05.24.2002) with an anti-varicose effect, containing extracts of chestnut and mint fruits.

There is a balm-gel (KO, Me2203023 cl. Ab1K7/00, dated 05.24.2002), this cosmetic product is intended for skin care with cellulite. It contains dry oats, dry birch leaves, glycerin, dry green tea, water-alcohol extract of horsetail, soybean oil, triethanolamine, carbopol, germaben, fragrance and water.

This balm-gel can be a prototype. However, the disadvantage of this gel is its narrow spectrum of action.

As the basis of a useful model, the task is to develop a cosmetic gel containing carbopol, germaben or dimol-P, glycerin or propylene glycol, sodium hydroxide or triethanolamine, perfume, water purified by adding chestnut fruit extract and comfrey extract, with the following ratio components, mass 90: carbopol 0.2-2.0 germaben II or dimol-P 0.4-1.5 glycerin or propylene glycol 5.0-15.0 sodium hydroxide or triethanolamine /-0.1-1.5 chestnut fruit extract 1 .0-4.5 oleander extract 3.0-6.0 perfume 0.05-0.5 water purified to 100.0 to ensure the creation of the preparation "Zhyvitan cosmetic gel".

The gel is intended for the care of sensitive, irritated and damaged skin.

Herbal cosmetics work gently, because its main components are taken from plant cells, which have a lot in common with the processes taking place in the cells of the human body.

Plant extracts contained in cosmetics are much more useful for our skin than synthetic components.

Kokopnyk (combination) (OeiIrpipipt eiaisht GG.) stimulates the processes of healing and restoration of the skin. Relieves irritation and inflammation of the skin, has a moisturizing effect. It is used for sensitive skin.

The main biologically active components of comfrey are alkaloids, tannins, mucus, choline, asparagine, resins and traces of essential oil, carotene and ascorbic acid, protein substances.

Horse chestnut (Aezsshiz Pyrrosaziapit I.) improves microcirculation and reduces blood flow, strengthens the walls of capillaries and veins, dissolves subcutaneous hemorrhages, prevents the formation of blood clots in the blood vessels of the legs.

The main active ingredients of horse chestnut are triterpene saponins of the p-amyrin group, the main of which is escin, a derivative of escigenin; coumarins of the group of oxy- and methoxycoumarins (esculin, fraxin); flavonoids, derivatives of quercetin and kaempferol. They are used as a venotonic and antithrombotic agent for venous stasis and dilatation of the veins of the lower extremities.

The combination of these components made it possible to obtain a complete set of biostimulants for a new cosmetic product. The selection of the proposed complex of chestnut and comfrey was preceded by a study of the chemical composition of each component separately, the selection of a given direction of action, the study of compatibility and the selection of optimal additives in order to preserve the stability of valuable active components.

The complex of biologically active substances, thinning the blood, improves its movement through all vessels, even through very small capillaries. As a result, the blood carries more oxygen to the tissues, as a result of which all metabolic processes improve.

In terms of biologically active action and compatibility, the most optimal are selected experimentally and calculated dosing of chestnut and comfrey extract.

The gel is intended for the care of skin prone to inflammation, as well as for the care of skin with bluish spots. Effective components contained in this cream strengthen the walls of blood vessels,

restore the normal physiological function of the skin, promote rapid healing of wounds.

The analysis of known technical solutions in the field of perfumery and cosmetics industry allows us to conclude that there are no features that are similar to the significant distinguishing features of the claimed gel, and to recognize this solution as meeting the criterion of "significant features".

A comparative analysis with the prototype allows us to conclude that "Zhyvytan" cosmetic gel" differs from the existing balm-gel in a more pronounced effect, improves immune protection and tissue regeneration, which meets the novelty criterion."

Thanks to the scientifically based selection of components, the cream is significantly and advantageously different from similar creams.

The method of preparation of the gel consists in the following technological process.

Carbopol is poured with water and left to swell for 5-6 hours. The preservative Germaben or Dimol is added to the solution and the swollen polymer is neutralized with an alkaline agent - sodium hydroxide solution or triethanolamine. Plant extracts of horse chestnut and comfrey are pre-mixed with the preservative glycerin or propylene glycol and this mixture is added to the gel. The finished gel is stirred for 10 minutes until a homogeneously colored product is obtained. Fragrance is added to the resulting mass and mixed again for 10 minutes. Control of physico-chemical indicators (homogeneity, appearance, smell, pH, alcohol content) is carried out. After receiving positive results, the gel is transferred to packaging.

The resulting gel is packaged in polymer or glass jars or aluminum and polymer tubes on an automatic packaging line.

The table shows examples of gel recipes. An increase or decrease in the quantitative share of components leads to instability of the cream and non-compliance with GOST 29189-91. The introduction of chestnut and comfrey extract in larger or smaller quantities does not provide an optimal biologically active effect.

The gel has a homogeneous, structured gel-like mass of light yellow color with a specific herbal smell.

Based on the obtained results, it can be concluded that "ZHYVYTAN" cosmetic gel for skin and hair" can be used as a cosmetic product and in cosmetic medicine.

With long-term use of the gel, the vessel wall itself becomes more elastic and penetrated, which ensures full delivery of nutrients and removal of waste from tissues.

Thus, thanks to the successful combination of biologically active substances, the use of the gel increases the turgor of the skin, its elasticity, stimulates metabolic processes in the skin epithelium, has a higher emollient capacity, heals wounds, strengthens blood circulation, increases the penetration of the skin barrier, dissolves vascular stars, bruises Does not have an irritating or allergic effect. Possible use in medical cosmetology.

Toxicological studies have shown that the gel has no anti-inflammatory, skin-irritating effect.
