Abstract

本創作揭示了一種卡緣連接器,其包括縱長的絕緣本體及複數端子,所述絕緣本體包括兩縱長側壁及位於兩側壁之間且向上貫穿的卡槽,所述側壁的內壁面設有收容所述端子的端子槽;每一所述側壁在其外壁面設有縱長延伸的第一凹陷部及自第一凹陷部向上繼續延伸的複數第二凹陷部,複數所述第二凹陷部在縱長方向上彼此間隔排列,第一凹陷部向下貫穿側壁的底面,所述第二凹陷部向上未貫穿所述側壁的頂面。藉由如是排配,第一、第二凹陷部使絕緣本體側壁分成厚度不一的上下兩部分,進而使該兩部分在注塑成型時各自的收縮率不同,從而減小翹曲變化。

Description

卡緣連接器
本創作涉及一種卡緣連接器。
卡緣連接器的絕緣本體在注塑成型時,因為其長度會使絕緣本體產生過度翹曲現象,形成笑臉狀彎曲,無法焊接固定至電路板,導致該注塑件廢棄。
因此,有必要對習知的卡緣連接器進行改造,以克服上述缺陷。
本創作的目的在於:提供一種卡緣連接器,其絕緣本體不易翹曲。
為實現上述目的,本創作可採用如下技術方案來實現:一種卡緣連接器,其包括縱長的絕緣本體及複數端子,所述絕緣本體包括兩縱長側壁及位於兩側壁之間且向上貫穿的卡槽,所述側壁的內壁面設有收容所述端子的端子槽;每一所述側壁在其外壁面設有縱長延伸的第一凹陷部及自第一凹陷部向上繼續延伸的複數第二凹陷部,複數所述第二凹陷部在縱長方向上彼此間隔排列,所述第一凹陷部向下貫穿側壁的底面,所述第二凹陷部向上未貫穿所述側壁的頂面。
與習知技術相比,本創作藉由第一、第二凹陷部使絕緣本體側壁分成厚度不一的上下兩部分,進而使該兩部分在注塑成型時各自的收縮率不同,從而減小翹曲變化。
請參閱第一圖至第八圖所示,本創作揭示的一種卡緣連接器100,其包括縱長的絕緣本體1及複數端子2。絕緣本體1包括兩縱長側壁11及位於兩側壁11之間且向上貫穿的卡槽12。側壁11的內壁面111設有收容端子2的端子槽112。每一側壁11在其外壁面113設有縱長延伸的第一凹陷部13及自第一凹陷部13向上繼續延伸的複數第二凹陷部14。複數第二凹陷部14在縱長方向上彼此間隔排列,第一凹陷部13向下貫穿側壁11的底面,第二凹陷部14向上未貫穿側壁11的頂面114。藉由如是排配,第一、第二凹陷部13、14藉由在絕緣本體1外壁面113上設置第一、第二凹陷部13、14將絕緣本體1分成上下厚度不一的兩部分,進而使該上、下兩部分在絕緣本體1注塑成型的因熱脹冷縮而產生不同的收縮率,減小絕緣本體1產生的翹曲量,防止產生笑臉型翹曲。
第一凹陷部13在縱長方向上橫貫絕緣本體1的兩端。定義絕緣本體1在相鄰第二凹陷部14之間的部位為間隔肋15,第二圖清晰可見。絕緣本體1位於第二凹陷部14之間的所有間隔肋15被傾斜切除部分而成傾斜面151設置,傾斜面151的上邊緣低於第二凹陷部14的內頂面141。以上僅為本實施例優選實施方式,間隔肋也可無需切除部分,直接設置成臺階狀。
參第六圖及第七圖所示,絕緣本體1在其縱長兩端設有向上延伸的塔部16。傾斜面151沿縱長方向延伸至臨近塔部16的下方。卡緣連接器100還具有組裝至塔部16的鎖扣件3。塔部16頂面向下凹設有固定槽161,一金屬U型件4插設固定至該固定槽16內。端子槽112設有面朝內並朝上的臺階面115,參第八圖,第二凹陷部14的內頂面141低於臺階面115。端子2包括豎直狀的固定部21及自固定部21傾斜延伸的彈性部22。固定部21向上延伸超過第一凹陷部13,但位於第二凹陷部14的內頂面141下方。
絕緣本體1設有連接兩側壁11的鍵扣17。側壁11在臨近鍵扣17處設有複數豎直凹縫116。複數豎直凹縫116密集排列,但相互間隔。鄰近鍵扣17部分的側壁11因厚度較大而容易在注塑成型時縮水產生細小凹坑,影響美觀,密集排列的豎直凹縫116可從視覺上讓使用者不易察覺細小凹坑,視覺上更加美觀。
在本實施例中,從垂直於側壁11的方向上看,第二凹陷部14呈梯形,梯形形狀便於注塑後的脫模處理,不易損傷絕緣本體1。第二凹陷部14的內壁面142為傾斜面,而第一凹陷部13的內壁面131為平面,或者說該平面相較絕緣本體1為垂直面。端子2還包括自固定部21向外彎折延伸形成的SMT接腳。當然,第二凹陷部14也可設置成三角形、長方形、正方形或者菱形等圖案,第二凹陷部14的內壁面也可設置成與第一凹陷部13的內壁面平行的平面。本創作的絕緣本體1不僅適用於SMT接腳,還可應用於Through Hole接腳。
綜上所述,本創作確已符合新型之要件,爰依法提出專利申請。惟,以上所述僅為本創作之較佳實施方式,自不能以此限定本創作之權利範圍。舉凡所屬技術領域中具有通常知識者爰依本創作之精神所作之等效修飾或變化,皆仍涵蓋於後附之申請專利範圍內。

Claims (10)

  1. 一種卡緣連接器,其包括縱長的絕緣本體及複數端子,所述絕緣本體包括兩縱長側壁及位於兩側壁之間且向上貫穿的卡槽,所述側壁的內壁面設有收容所述端子的端子槽;其中,每一所述側壁在其外壁面設有縱長延伸的第一凹陷部及自第一凹陷部向上繼續延伸的複數第二凹陷部,複數所述第二凹陷部在縱長方向上彼此間隔排列,所述第一凹陷部向下貫穿側壁的底面,所述第二凹陷部向上未貫穿所述側壁的頂面。
  2. 如請求項1所述的卡緣連接器,其中所述第一凹陷部在縱長方向上橫貫所述絕緣本體的兩端。
  3. 如請求項1所述的卡緣連接器,其中相鄰所述第二凹陷部之間在所述側壁上形成間隔肋,所述絕緣本體的位於所述第二凹陷部之間的所有間隔肋被傾斜切除部分而成傾斜面設置,所述傾斜面的上邊緣低於所述第二凹陷部的內頂面。
  4. 如請求項3所述的卡緣連接器,其中所述絕緣本體在其縱長兩端設有向上延伸的塔部,所述傾斜面在縱長方向上延伸至臨近所述塔部的下方。
  5. 如請求項4所述的卡緣連接器,其中所述端子槽設有面朝內並朝上的臺階面,所述第二凹陷部的內頂面低於所述臺階面。
  6. 如請求項1所述的卡緣連接器,其中所述端子包括豎直狀的固定部及自固定部傾斜延伸的彈性部,所述固定部向上延伸超過所述第一凹陷部,但位於第二凹陷部的內頂面下方。
  7. 如請求項1所述的卡緣連接器,其中所述絕緣本體設有鍵扣,所述側壁在臨近鍵扣處設有複數豎直凹縫。
  8. 如請求項1所述的卡緣連接器,其中從垂直於所述側壁的方向上看,所述第二凹陷部呈梯形。
  9. 如請求項7所述的卡緣連接器,其中所述第二凹陷部的內壁面為傾斜面,所述第一凹陷部的內壁面為平面。
  10. 如請求項6所述的卡緣連接器,其中所述端子還包括自所述固定部向外彎折延伸形成的SMT接腳。
