Description
本發明是有關於一種將高折射率的玻璃板與高折射率的樹脂板貼合而成的複合基板,是有關於一種例如適合於有機電激發光(Electroluminescence,EL)裝置、尤其是有機EL照明的複合基板。
近年來,使用了有機EL發光元件的顯示器,照明日益受到關注。該些有機EL裝置具有藉由形成著氧化銦錫(Indium Tin Oxide,ITO)等的透明導電膜的基板而夾入有機發光元件的構造。該構造中,若有機發光元件中流動電流,則有機發光元件中的電洞與電子凝集而發光。發出的光經由ITO等的透明導電膜而進入至基板中,一邊在基板內重複反射一邊向外部放出。
然而,有機發光元件的折射率nd為1.9~2.1,ITO的折射率nd為1.9~2.0。與此相對,基板的折射率nd通常為1.5左右。因此,先前的有機EL裝置因基板-ITO界面的折射率差而反射率高,存在無法將由有機發光元件產生的光高效地出射的問題。
另一方面,為了出射來自有機發光元件的光,若使用高折射率的玻璃基板,則基板-空氣界面的反射率增高,產生無法高效地出射光的問題。
因此,本發明的技術性課題在於提供一種光出射效率
高的基板。
本發明者等人進行積極研究後發現,將玻璃板與樹脂板的折射率限制在規定範圍內,並進而將該些貼合,藉此可解決上述技術性課題,從而提出了本發明。亦即,本發明的複合基板將玻璃板與樹脂板貼合而成,其特徵在於:玻璃板的折射率nd為1.55以上2.3以下,且樹脂板的折射率nd為1.55以上2.3以下。此處,使樹脂板貼合於玻璃板的目的是為了抑制藉由有機層與玻璃板及樹脂板的折射率差所引起的反射而有機層中發出的光在層間反射,從而提高效率,並且防止玻璃板破損時的飛散。
據此,可降低基板-ITO界面的反射率,且基板-空氣界面的反射率亦可降低。而且,在樹脂板的情況下,表面容易形成無反射構造,若將該表面設為有機EL照明等的與空氣接觸的側,則在有機發光層中產生的光難以回到有機發光層內,結果,可提高光的出射效率。
此處,「玻璃板的折射率nd」可利用折射率測定器來測定,在製作例如25mm×25mm×約3mm的長方體試料後,以0.1℃/min的冷卻速度對從(Ta+30℃)到(應變點-50℃)為止的溫度域進行退火處理,然後,可一邊使折射率匹配的浸液浸透於玻璃-稜鏡間,一邊使用島津製作所製造的折射率測定器KPR-2000來進行測定。而且,「樹脂板的折射率nd」可利用折射率測定器來進行測定,例如可藉由橢圓偏光計(ellipsometer)來測定。
第二,本發明的複合基板中,較佳為玻璃板作為玻璃
組成,以mol%計,含有10%~70%的SiO2、0%~10%的B2O3、0.1%~60%的SrO+BaO+La2O3+Nb2O5、0%~35%的La2O3、0%~15%的Li2O+Na2O+K2O,莫耳比(MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO)/(La2O3+Nb2O5+BaO+TiO2+ZrO2)為0.1~4,應變點為600℃以上,折射率nd為1.55~2.3。此處「SrO+BaO+La2O3+Nb2O5」是指SrO、BaO、La2O3、及Nb2O5的合量。「Li2O+Na2O+K2O」是指Li2O、Na2O、及K2O的合量。「MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO」是指MgO、CaO、SrO、及BaO的合量。「La2O3+Nb2O5+BaO+TiO2+ZrO2」是指La2O3、Nb2O5、BaO、TiO2、及ZrO2的合量。「應變點」是指根據ASTM C336-71所記載的方法而測定的值。
第三,本發明的複合基板較佳為玻璃板包含液相溫度1250℃以下的玻璃。此處,「液相溫度」是指將通過標準篩30目(500μm)而殘留於50目(300μm)中的玻璃粉末加入至鉑舟中,於溫度梯度爐中保持24小時,測定結晶析出的溫度所得的值。
第四,本發明的複合基板較佳為玻璃板包含液相黏度103.5dPa.s以上的玻璃。此處,「液相黏度」是指利用鉑球提拉法測定液相溫度下的玻璃的黏度所得的值。
第五,本發明的複合基板較佳為玻璃板利用溢流下拉法而成形。此處,「溢流下拉法」是如下方法:使熔融玻璃從耐熱性的管狀構造物的兩側溢出,一邊使溢出的熔融玻璃在管狀構造物的下端合流,一邊向下方延伸成形而成形玻璃板。
第六,本發明的複合基板較佳為玻璃板的至少一側的表面(尤其有效面)的表面粗糙度Ra為10nm以下。在為有機EL照明裝置的情況下,通常在玻璃板的一表面形成著ITO。若形成著ITO的表面的平滑性低,則容易在有機EL照明裝置產生亮度不均。因此,將玻璃板的至少一側的表面(尤其有效面)的表面粗糙度Ra設為10nm以下,若在其表面形成ITO,則容易防止此不良。此處,「表面粗糙度Ra」是指利用依據JIS B0601:2001的方法測定所得的值。
第七,本發明的複合基板較佳為玻璃板的板厚為2.0mm以下。
第八,本發明的複合基板較佳為玻璃板包含密度4.0g/cm3以下的玻璃。
第九,本發明的複合基板較佳為玻璃板的尺寸為寬度100mm以上,長度100mm以上。
第十,本發明的複合基板較佳為樹脂板包含聚氯乙烯、聚偏二氯乙烯、聚苯乙烯、苯乙烯丙烯腈(styrene acrylonitrile)共聚物、聚酯、聚醯胺、聚醯亞胺、聚胺基甲酸酯、環氧樹脂、聚碳酸酯、壓克力中的任一種。
第十一,本發明的複合基板較佳為在樹脂板的至少一側的表面形成凹凸構造。據此,藉由樹脂板的表面的凹凸構造,抑制基板表面的反射,因此可提高光的出射效率。此處,亦考慮在玻璃板的表面利用噴砂等形成凹凸構造,但在該情況下,具有如下缺點:玻璃板的強度降低,並且
難以形成理想的凹凸構成。因此,較佳為如上述般在樹脂板的表面形成凹凸構造。
第十二,本發明的複合基板較佳為樹脂板的至少一側的表面(尤其有效面)的表面粗糙度Ra為0.5nm以上。
第十三,本發明的複合基板較佳為樹脂板的板厚為0.01mm~3mm。
第十四,本發明的複合基板較佳為在玻璃板與樹脂板之間具有黏接材層,該黏接材層的厚度為100μm以下。
第十五,本發明的複合基板較佳為(樹脂板的折射率nd)-(玻璃板的折射率nd)的值為0.001~0.1。
第十六,本發明的複合基板較佳為霧度值為5%以上。
此處,「霧度值」是根據JIS K7361-1(1997)而測定的值,例如可利用市售的膨脹劑(dilatometer)測定。

根據本發明,複合基板中所包含的玻璃板與樹脂板的各自的折射率被適當限制,因此可抑制對光的出射有不良影響的反射,從而可提高光的出射效率。
本發明的一實施形態的複合基板在玻璃板的單面貼合樹脂板而成,例如在有機EL顯示器或有機EL照明等中使
用。以下,對本實施形態的複合基板中所包含的玻璃板與樹脂板進行詳述。另外,以下的實施形態中,對在玻璃板的單面貼合樹脂板的複合樹脂板進行說明,但本發明的複合樹脂板亦可為在玻璃板的兩面分別貼合樹脂板的複合樹脂板。
本實施形態的複合基板中所包含的玻璃板的折射率nd為1.55以上,較佳為1.58以上、1.60以上、1.63以上,尤佳為1.64以上。若玻璃板的折射率nd小於1.55,則藉由ITO-玻璃界面的反射而無法將光高效地出射至外部。另一方面,若玻璃板的折射率nd過高,則玻璃板與樹脂板的界面的反射率變高,光出射效率容易降低。因此,玻璃板的折射率nd較佳為2.30以下、2.00以下、1.90以下、1.85以下、1.80以下、1.75以下,尤佳為1.70以下。
上述玻璃板較理想的是具有以下所示的玻璃組成、玻璃特性等。另外,在各成分的含有範圍的說明中,%表述除作特別說明的情況外,表示mol%。
SiO2的含量較佳為10%~70%。若SiO2的含量減少,則難以形成玻璃網眼構造,玻璃化變得困難。而且,玻璃的黏性過於降低,則難以確保高的液相黏度。因此,SiO2的含量較佳為15%以上、20%以上、30%以上、40%以上、45%以上、50%以上,尤佳為55%以上。另一方面,若SiO2的含量增多,則熔融性、成形性容易降低,而且,折射率nd容易降低。因此,SiO2的含量較佳為68%以下、65%以下,尤佳為63%以下。
Al2O3的含量較佳為0%~20%。若Al2O3的含量增多,玻璃中容易析出失透結晶,液相黏度容易降低。而且,折射率nd容易降低。因此,Al2O3的含量較佳為15%以下、10%以下、8%以下,尤佳為6%以下。另外,若Al2O3的含量減少,則玻璃組成的成分失衡,玻璃反而容易失透。因此,Al2O3的含量較佳為0.1%以上、0.5%以上,尤佳為1%以上。
若B2O3的含量增多,則折射率nd、楊氏模量(Young's modulus)容易降低,而且,應變點容易降低。因此,B2O3的含量較佳為10%以下、8%以下,尤佳為6%以下。另一方面,若B2O3的含量減少,則耐失透性容易降低。因此,B2O3的含量較佳為0.1%以上,尤佳為1%以上。
SrO+BaO+La2O3+Nb2O5是不會破壞耐失透性而用於提高折射率nd的成分。然而,若大量地添加,則有如下之虞:玻璃組成的成分失衡,耐失透性反而容易降低,並且,密度或熱膨張係數變得過高。SrO+BaO+La2O3+Nb2O5的較佳的下限範圍為0.1%以上、5%以上、10%以上、15%以上,尤佳為18%以上。而且,SrO+BaO+La2O3+Nb2O5的較佳的上限範圍為60%以下、50%以下、40%以下、35%以下、25%以下,尤佳為22%以下。
SrO的含量較佳為0%~20%。若SrO的含量增多,則折射率nd、密度、熱膨張係數容易變高,若其含量過多,則玻璃組成的成分失衡,且耐失透性容易降低。因此,SrO的含量較佳為18%以下、14%以下、12%以下、11%以下、
8%以下、7%以下,尤佳為6%以下。另外,若SrO的含量減少,則熔融性容易降低,而且,折射率nd容易降低。因此,SrO的含量較佳為0.1%以上、0.8%以上、1.4%以上、3%以上,尤佳為4%以上。
BaO的含量較佳為0%~60%。BaO是鹼土類金屬氧化物中不會使黏性極度降低而提高折射率nd的成分。若BaO的含量增多,則折射率nd、密度、熱膨張係數容易變高。然而,若BaO的含量過多,則玻璃組成的成分失衡,且耐失透性容易降低。因此,BaO的含量較佳為50%以下、45%以下、40%以下、35%以下、34%以下、32%以下,尤佳為30%以下。另外,若BaO的含量減少,則除難以獲得所期望的折射率nd之外,亦難以確保高的液相黏度。因此,BaO的含量較佳為0.1%以上、1%以上、2%以上、5%以上、10%以上,尤佳為13%以上。
La2O3是提高折射率nd的成分。若La2O3的含量增多,則密度、熱膨張係數變得過高,而且,耐失透性容易降低。因此,La2O3的較佳的上限範圍為35%以下、25%以下、15%以下、10%以下、8%以下、5%以下,尤佳為3%以下。另外,在添加La2O3的情況下,其添加量較佳為0.1%以上、0.3%以上、0.5%以上、0.8%以上,尤佳為1%以上。
Nb2O5是提高折射率nd的成分。若Nb2O5的含量增多,則密度、熱膨張係數變得過高,而且,耐失透性容易降低。因此,Nb2O5的含量較佳為0%~10%、0%~7%、0%~5%、0%~3%、0%~1%、0%~0.5%,尤佳為0%~
0.1%。
莫耳比(MgO+CaO)/(SrO+BaO)較佳為0~1。若莫耳比(MgO+CaO)/(SrO+BaO)過大,則玻璃組成失衡,耐失透性反而容易降低,因而難以確保高的液相黏度,而且,應變點容易降低。另一方面,若莫耳比(MgO+CaO)/(SrO+BaO)過小,則有密度變得過高之虞。因此,莫耳比(MgO+CaO)/(SrO+BaO)的較佳的下限範圍為0.1以上、0.2以上、0.3以上,尤佳為0.35以上。而且,莫耳比(MgO+CaO)/(SrO+BaO)的較佳的上限範圍為0.8以下、0.7以下、0.6以下,尤佳為0.5以下。此處,「MgO+CaO」是MgO與CaO的合量。「SrO+BaO」是SrO與BaO的合量。
MgO是提高折射率nd、楊氏模量、應變點的成分,並且是使高溫黏度降低的成分,但若大量地添加MgO,則有液相溫度上升,耐失透性降低,而且,密度或熱膨張係數變得過高之虞。因此,MgO的含量較佳為20%以下、15%以下、10%以下、5%以下、3%以下,尤佳為1%以下。
CaO的含量較佳為0%~15%。若CaO的含量增多,則密度、熱膨張係數容易變高,若其含量過多,則玻璃組成失衡,且耐失透性容易降低。因此,CaO的含量較佳為15%以下、13%以下、11%以下,尤佳為9.5%以下。另外,若CaO的含量減少,則熔融性降低,或楊氏模量降低,或折射率nd容易降低。因此,CaO的含量較佳為0.5%以上、1%以上、2%以上、4%以上、6%以上,尤佳為7%以上。
莫耳比(MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO)/(La2O3+Nb2O5+BaO+TiO2+ZrO2)較佳為0.1~4。若莫耳比(MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO)/(La2O3+Nb2O5+BaO+TiO2+ZrO2)過大,則折射率nd容易降低。然而,若莫耳比(MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO)/(La2O3+Nb2O5+BaO+TiO2+ZrO2)過小,則有難以獲得高的液相黏度,或密度或熱膨張係數變得過高之虞。因此,莫耳比(MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO)/(La2O3+Nb2O5+BaO+TiO2+ZrO2)的較佳的下限範圍為0.1以上、0.3以上、0.5以上、0.8以上、1以上、1.3以上,尤佳為1.5以上。而且,莫耳比(MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO)/(La2O3+Nb2O5+BaO+TiO2+ZrO2)的較佳的上限範圍為4以下、3.5以下、3以下、2.8以下、2.5以下,尤佳為2.0以下。
TiO2是提高折射率nd的成分。若TiO2的含量增多,則耐失透性容易降低。因此,TiO2的含量較佳為0%~20%、0%~15%、0%~10%、0%~8%、0%~6%,尤佳為0%~5%。
ZrO2是提高折射率nd的成分。若ZrO2的含量增多,則耐失透性容易降低。因此,ZrO2的含量較佳為0%~20%、0%~15%、0%~10%、0%~8%、0%~6%,尤佳為0%~5%。
Li2O+Na2O+K2O是使黏性降低的成分,而且是調整熱膨張係數的成分,若大量地添加,則黏性過於降低,難以
確保高的液相黏度。因此,Li2O+Na2O+K2O的含量較佳為10%以下、5%以下、3%以下、2%以下、1%以下、0.5%以下,尤佳為0.1%以下。而且,Li2O、Na2O、K2O的含量分別較佳為8%以下、5%以下、2%以下、1%以下、0.5%以下,尤佳為0.1%以下。
作為澄清劑,可添加0%~3%、尤佳添加0.1%~2%的選自As2O3、Sb2O3、CeO2、SnO2、F、Cl、SO3的群組中的一種或二種以上。其中,自環境的觀點考慮,較佳為極力地控制As2O3、Sb2O3、及F,尤其As2O3、及Sb2O3的使用,各自的含量較佳為小於0.1%。若自環境的觀點而言,作為澄清劑,則較佳為SnO2、SO3、及Cl。SnO2的含量較佳為0%~3%、0%~1%、0.01%~0.5%,尤佳為0.05%~0.4%。而且,SnO2+SO3+Cl的含量較佳為0%~3%、0%~1%、0.001%~1%、0.01%~0.5%,尤佳為0.01%~0.3%。此處,「SnO2+SO3+Cl」是指SnO2、SO3、及Cl的合量。
PbO是使高溫黏性降低並且提高折射率的成分,但自環境的觀點考慮,較佳為極力地控制該PbO的使用,其含量較佳為0.5%以下,較理想的是實質不含有PbO。此處,「實質不含有PbO」是指玻璃組成中的PbO的含量小於1000ppm(質量)的情況。
除上述成分以外,亦可添加其他成分例如至15%。
藉由組合各成分的較佳的含有範圍、玻璃特性,而可製作較佳的玻璃板。其中,尤佳的玻璃組成範圍、玻璃特性的組合為以下所示。
(1)作為玻璃組成,以mol%計,含有20%~70%的SiO2、0%~8%的B2O3、5%~50%的SrO+BaO+La2O3+Nb2O5、0.1%~30%的La2O3、0%~5%的Li2O+Na2O+K2O,以莫耳比計,(MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO)/(La2O3+Nb2O5+BaO+TiO2+ZrO2)為0.5~3.5,折射率nd為1.55~2.00。
(2)作為玻璃組成,以mol%計,含有40%~70%的SiO2、0%~5%的B2O3、10%~40%的SrO+BaO+La2O3+Nb2O5、0.3%~15%的La2O3、0%~3%的Li2O+Na2O+K2O,以莫耳比計,(MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO)/(La2O3+Nb2O5+BaO+TiO2+ZrO2)為1~3.5,折射率nd為1.55~1.85。
(3)作為玻璃組成,以mol%計,含有50%~70%的SiO2、0%~3%的B2O3、15%~35%的SrO+BaO+La2O3+Nb2O5、0.5%~10%的La2O3、0%~1%的Li2O+Na2O+K2O,莫耳比(MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO)/(La2O3+Nb2O5+BaO+TiO2+ZrO2)為1.3~3,折射率nd為1.55~1.80。
(4)作為玻璃組成,以mol%計,含有50%~70%的SiO2、0%~1%的B2O3、15%~25%的SrO+BaO+La2O3+Nb2O5、0.8%~5%的La2O3、0%~0.5%的Li2O+Na2O+K2O,莫耳比(MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO)/(La2O3+Nb2O5+BaO+TiO2+ZrO2)為1.5~2.5,折射率nd為1.55~1.80。
(5)作為玻璃組成,以mol%計,含有50%~70%的SiO2、0%~0.1%的B2O3、18%~22%的SrO+BaO+La2O3+Nb2O5、1~3%的La2O3、0%~0.1%的Li2O+Na2O+K2O,莫耳比(MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO)/(La2O3+Nb2O5+BaO+TiO2+ZrO2)為1.5~2.5,折射率nd為1.60~1.70。
(6)作為玻璃組成,以mol%計,含有50%~70%的SiO2、0%~8%的B2O3、5%~15%的MgO、18%~22%的SrO+BaO+La2O3+Nb2O5、0%~3%的La2O3、0%~0.1%的Li2O+Na2O+K2O,莫耳比(MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO)/(La2O3+Nb2O5+BaO+TiO2+ZrO2)為1.5~2.0,折射率nd為1.62~1.68。
上述玻璃板的密度較佳為4.0g/cm3以下、3.7g/cm3以下、3.5g/cm3以下,尤佳為3.4g/cm3以下。據此,可使裝置輕量化。
上述玻璃板中,30℃~380℃時的熱膨張係數較佳為45×10-7~110×10-7/℃、50×10-7~100×10-7/℃、60×10-7~95×10-7/℃、65×10-7~90×10-7/℃、65×10-7~85×10-7/℃,尤佳為70×10-7~80×10-7/℃。若熱膨張係數過低,則有與有機EL薄膜或透明導電膜的熱膨張係數不匹配,在玻璃板產生翹曲之虞。另一方面,若熱膨張係數過高,則在使用玻璃料而將有機EL裝置雷射密封(laser seal)的情況下,玻璃板因熱衝擊容易破裂。因此,若將熱膨張係數限制在上述範圍內,則容易防止此種事態。
上述玻璃板的應變點較佳為630℃以上、650℃以上、670℃以上、690℃以上,尤佳為700℃以上。在使用玻璃料將有機EL照明裝置等雷射密封的情況下,若玻璃板的耐熱性低,則玻璃板容易發生破裂。
上述玻璃板中,102.5dPa.s下的溫度較佳為1450℃以下、1400℃以下、1370℃以下、1330℃以下,尤佳為1290℃以下。據此,熔融性提高,因而玻璃板的製造效率提高。
上述玻璃板的液相溫度較佳為1250℃以下、1150℃以下、1130℃以下、1110℃以下、1090℃以下、1070℃以下、1050℃以下、1030℃以下,尤佳為1000℃以下。而且,液相黏度較佳為103.5dPa.s以上、103.8dPa.s以上、104.2dPa.s以上、104.4dPa.s以上、104.6dPa.s以上、105.0dPa.s以上,尤佳為105.2dPa.s以上。據此,成形時玻璃不易失透,容易利用溢流下拉法成形玻璃板。
上述玻璃板的板厚較佳為2.0mm以下、1.5mm以下、1.3mm以下、1.1mm以下、0.8mm以下、0.6mm以下、0.5mm以下、0.3mm以下、0.2mm以下,尤佳為0.1mm以下。玻璃板的板厚越小,玻璃板的可撓性越高,越容易製作設計性高的照明裝置。然而,若玻璃板的板厚變得極小,則玻璃板容易破損。因此,玻璃板的板厚較佳為10μm以上,尤佳為30μm以上。
上述玻璃板的寬度較佳為5mm以上、10mm以上、50mm以上、100mm以上、300mm以上,尤佳為500mm以上。玻璃板的長度較佳為5mm以上、10mm以上、50mm
以上、100mm以上、300mm以上,尤佳為500mm以上。據此,容易實現有機EL照明等的大型化。
上述玻璃板較佳為至少一側的表面(較佳為兩面)為未研磨。玻璃的理論強度儘管非常高,但多會因比理論強度低很多的應力而導致破壞。這是因為,在玻璃表面成形被稱作格里菲思微裂紋(Griffith flaw)的小缺陷後的步驟,例如研磨步驟等中產生。因此,若使玻璃表面為未研磨,則不易破壞玻璃本來的機械強度,因而玻璃板不易破壞。而且,若使玻璃板的表面為未研磨,則可省略研磨步驟,因而可使玻璃板的製造成本低廉化。
上述玻璃板中,至少一側的表面(較佳為兩面)的表面粗糙度Ra較佳為10nm以下、5nm以下、1nm以下、0.5nm以下、0.3nm以下,尤佳為0.2nm以下。若表面粗糙度Ra大於10nm,則在其表面形成ITO的情況下,ITO的品質降低,難以獲得均一的發光。
上述玻璃板較佳為利用溢流下拉法而成形。據此,未研磨便可製造表面品質良好的玻璃板。其理由在於,在溢流下拉法的情況下,應成為表面的面不與管狀耐火物接觸,而以自由表面的狀態成形。管狀構造物的構造或材質只要可實現所期望的尺寸或表面精度,則不作特別限定。而且,為了進行向下方的延伸成形,對熔融玻璃施加力的方法亦不作特別限定。例如,可採用使具有充分大的寬度的耐熱性輥在與熔融玻璃接觸的狀態下旋轉而延伸的方法,亦可採用使成為多對的耐熱性輥僅與熔融玻璃的端面
附近接觸而延伸的方法。
除溢流下拉法以外,例如可採用下拉法(流孔下引法,再拉法等)、浮動(float)法、輾平(rollout)法等。
另外,上述玻璃板例如以如下方式製造。亦即,首先,以成為所期望的玻璃組成的方式來調合玻璃原料,從而製作玻璃配料(glass batch)。然後,將該玻璃配料熔融、澄清後,成形為所期望的形狀。然後,加工成所期望的形狀。
本實施形態的複合基板中所包含的樹脂板的折射率nd為1.55以上,較佳為1.58以上、1.60以上、1.63以上,尤佳為1.64以上。若樹脂板的折射率nd小於1.55,則難以提高有機EL照明的光出射效率。另一方面,若樹脂板的折射率nd過高,樹脂板的透過率降低,或者難以成形為板狀。因此,樹脂板的折射率nd較佳為2.3以下、2.0以下、1.9以下、1.8以下、1.75以下,尤佳為1.7以下。
上述樹脂板的材質自製造成本的觀點考慮,較佳為聚對苯二甲酸乙二酯,聚氯乙烯、聚偏二氯乙烯、聚苯乙烯、苯乙烯丙烯腈共聚物、聚酯、聚醯胺、聚醯亞胺、聚胺基甲酸酯、環氧樹脂、聚碳酸酯、壓克力中的任一個。
上述樹脂板的板厚較佳為2.0mm以下、1.5mm以下、1.3mm以下、1.1mm以下、0.8mm以下、0.6mm以下、0.5mm以下、0.3mm以下、0.2mm以下,尤佳為0.1mm以下。樹脂板的板厚越小,樹脂板的可撓性越高,從而越容易製作設計性高的照明裝置。然而,若樹脂板的板厚變得極小,則樹脂板容易破損。因此,樹脂板的板厚較佳為
10μm以上,尤佳為30μm以上。
上述樹脂板中,至少一側的表面的表面粗糙度Ra較佳為10nm以下、5nm以下、1nm以下、0.5nm以下、0.3nm以下,尤佳為0.2nm以下。若表面粗糙度Ra大於10nm,則成膜在玻璃基板上的透明導電膜或有機層的膜厚控制變得困難。而且,在與玻璃板的黏接時,有在其界面混入氣泡而外觀品質降低之虞。
上述樹脂板為了提高光出射效率,較佳為在至少一側的表面形成凹凸構造,尤佳形成四角錐。就凹凸構造而言,可一邊考慮到玻璃板的折射率nd、有機材料的厚度、樹脂板的折射率nd等,一邊決定凹凸構造的週期、深度、形狀等。
本實施形態的複合基板中,(樹脂板的折射率nd)-(玻璃板的折射率nd)的值較佳為0.001~0.1,0.001~0.05,0.001~0.03,0.001~0.01,0.001~0.0008,尤佳為0.001~0.0005。若(樹脂板的折射率nd)-(玻璃板的折射率nd)的值小於0.001,則玻璃板-樹脂板的界面的反射率增大,光出射效率容易降低。另一方面,若(樹脂板的折射率nd)-(玻璃板的折射率nd)的值過大,則樹脂板-空氣的界面的反射損失增大,光出射效率容易降低。
本實施形態的複合基板中,為了貼合玻璃板與樹脂板,亦可使用黏接材。在使用黏接材的情況下,較佳為使用乙烯-醋酸乙烯酯(ethylene-vinyl acetate,EVA)(乙烯-醋酸乙烯酯共聚物樹脂)、紫外線效果樹脂、熱硬化性樹
脂、透明光學膠(Optical Clear Adhesive,OCA高透明性黏接劑轉印膠帶)等。
黏接材層的厚度較佳為100μm以下、80μm以下、50μm以下、30μm以下、10μm以下、8μm以下、5μm以下,尤佳為3μm以下。據此,因複合基板的厚度減小,故容易達成裝置的輕量化、薄型化。
本實施形態的複合基板中,霧度值較佳為5%以上、10%以上、30%以上、50%以上、70%以上、80%以上、90%以上、93%以上,尤佳為98%以上。據此,因樹脂板-空氣的界面的反射率降低,故可提高光出射效率。
[實例1]
根據實例來說明本發明的實例。另外,實例為單獨的例示,本發明並不受以下的實例任何限定。
表1~表3表示本發明的實例(試料No.1~試料No.14)。另外,表中,PET表示聚對苯二甲酸乙二酯(Polyethylene terephthalate),PEN表示聚萘二甲酸乙二酯(Polyethylene naphthalate)。
首先,以成為表1~表3所記載的玻璃組成的方式,在調合玻璃原料後,將所獲得的玻璃配料供給至玻璃熔融爐,在1500℃~1600℃下熔融4小時。然後,將所獲得的熔融玻璃流出至碳板上而成形為板狀後,進行規定的退火處理。然後,進行研磨處理直至成為表中所記載的板厚為止。最後對所獲得的玻璃板評估各種特性。
密度ρ為藉由周知的阿基米德法測定所得的值。
熱膨張係數α為使用膨脹計,測定30℃~380℃時的平均值所得的值。作為測定試料,使用φ5mm×20mm的圓柱狀試料(端面受到R加工)。
應變點Ps為根據ASTM C336-71所記載的方法測定所得的值。另外,應變點Ps越高,則耐熱性越高。
軟化點Ta、軟化點Ts是根據ASTM C338-93所記載的方法測定所得的值。
高溫黏度104.0dPa.s、103.0dPa.s、102.5dPa.s、及102.0dPa.s下的溫度是利用鉑球提拉法測定所得的值。另外,該些溫度越低,則熔融性越優異。
液相溫度TL是將通過標準篩30目(500μm)而殘留於50目(300μm)的玻璃粉末加入至鉑舟中,於溫度梯度爐中保持24小時,測定結晶析出的溫度所得的值。而且,液相黏度log10ηTL是指利用鉑球提拉法測定液相溫度TL下的玻璃的黏度所得的值。另外,液相黏度log10ηTL越高,液相溫度TL越低,則耐失透性、成形性越優異。
玻璃板的折射率nd、nC是首先製作25mm×25mm×約3mm的長方體試料後,以成為0.1℃/min的冷卻速度對自(Ta+30℃)至(應變點-50℃)為止的溫度域進行退火處理,然後一邊使折射率匹配的浸液浸透於玻璃間,一邊使用島津製作所製的折射率測定器KPR-2000測定所得的值。而且,樹脂板的折射率nd、nC是利用橢圓偏光計測定所得的值。
使用OCA(厚度175μm),將上述玻璃板與表中所記載的樹脂板利用貼合機(laminator)而貼合,從而製作複合基板。
對表3所記載的試料No.11~No.14的複合基板,藉由雙光束式(double beam)膨脹劑測定霧度值後,試料No.11為88%,試料No.12為95%,試料No.13為82%,試料No.14為74%。
[實例2]
以成為表1所記載的試料No.5、No.11所記載的玻璃組成的方式,調合玻璃原料後,將所獲得的玻璃配料投入至連續爐中,以1450℃~1600℃的溫度熔融。然後,對所獲得的熔融玻璃,藉由溢流下拉法進行成形,從而獲得厚度0.5mm的玻璃板。對所獲得的玻璃板,測定兩面的表面粗糙度(Ra)後,其值為0.2nm。另外,表面粗糙度(Ra)是利用依據JIS B0601:2001的方法測定所得的值。
進而,使用EVA(厚度25μm),將上述玻璃板與PET製的樹脂板(厚度100μm,兩面的表面粗糙度Ra 5nm)利用貼合機貼合,從而製作複合基板。
[實例3]
以成為表1所記載的試料No.5、No.11所記載的玻璃組成的方式,調合玻璃原料後,將所獲得的玻璃配料投入至連續爐中,以1450℃~1600℃的溫度熔融。然後,對所獲得的熔融玻璃,藉由溢流下拉法進行成形,從而獲得厚度0.5mm的玻璃板。對所獲得的玻璃板,測定兩面的表
面粗糙度(Ra)後,其值為0.2nm。另外,表面粗糙度(Ra)是利用依據JIS B0601:2001的方法測定所得的值。
進而,在上述玻璃板塗佈UV硬化樹脂後,重疊PET製的樹脂板(厚度100μm,兩面的表面粗糙度Ra 1.0μm)後,進行UV照射,從而製作複合基板。
Claims (20)
- 一種複合基板,將玻璃板與樹脂板貼合而成,其特徵在於:前述玻璃板的折射率nd為1.55以上2.3以下,且前述樹脂板的折射率nd為1.55以上2.3以下,並且前述樹脂板的一側的表面具有凹凸週期構造。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之複合基板,其中前述玻璃板作為玻璃組成,以mol%計,含有10%~70%的SiO2、0%~10%的B2O3、0.1%~60%的SrO+BaO+La2O3+Nb2O5、0%~35%的La2O3、0%~15%的Li2O+Na2O+K2O,莫耳比(MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO)/(La2O3+Nb2O5+BaO+TiO2+ZrO2)為0.1~4,應變點為600℃以上,折射率nd為1.55~2.3。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項或第2項所述之複合基板,其中前述玻璃板包含液相溫度1250℃以下的玻璃。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項或第2項所述之複合基板,其中前述玻璃板包含液相黏度103.5dPa‧s以上的玻璃。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項或第2項所述之複合基板,其中前述玻璃板利用溢流下拉法而成形。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項或第2項所述之複合基板,其中 前述玻璃板的至少一側的表面的表面粗糙度Ra為10nm以下。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項或第2項所述之複合基板,其中前述玻璃板的板厚為2.0mm以下。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項或第2項所述之複合基板,其中前述玻璃板包含密度4.0g/cm3以下的玻璃。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項或第2項所述之複合基板,其中前述玻璃板的尺寸為寬度100mm以上,長度100mm以上。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項或第2項所述之複合基板,其中前述樹脂板包含聚氯乙烯、聚偏二氯乙烯、聚苯乙烯、苯乙烯丙烯腈共聚物、聚酯、聚醯胺、聚醯亞胺、聚胺基甲酸酯、環氧樹脂、聚碳酸酯、壓克力中的任一種。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項或第2項所述之複合基板,其中在前述樹脂板的至少一側的表面形成凹凸構造。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項或第2項所述之複合基板,其中前述樹脂板的至少一側的表面的表面粗糙度Ra為0.5nm以上。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項或第2項所述之複合基板,其中前述樹脂板的板厚為0.01mm~3mm。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項或第2項所述之複合基板,其中在前述玻璃板與前述樹脂板之間具有黏接材層,該黏接材層的厚度為100μm以下。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項或第2項所述之複合基板,其中(樹脂板的折射率nd)-(玻璃板的折射率nd)的值為0.001~0.1。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項或第2項所述之複合基板,其中複合基板的霧度值為5%以上。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項或第2項所述之複合基板,其用於照明裝置。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項或第2項所述之複合基板,其用於有機電激發光照明。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項或第2項所述之複合基板,其用於有機電激發光顯示器。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項或第2項所述之複合基板,其中於前述樹脂板的一側的表面具有四角錐的凹凸週期構造。
