Description

電連接器及其製造方法
本發明涉及一種電連接器及其製造方法,尤其是一種電性連接晶片模組至印刷電路板之電連接器及其製造方法。
中國大陸專利公告第201498709號揭示了一種與本發明相關之電連接器。其包括基座、收容在基座內之導電端子和接地端子。基座由銅或類似導電材料製成。導電端子之外圍設有絕緣物質,以將導電端子與基座電性隔離。接地端子與基座電性接觸。
上述電連接器缺點在於:基座由銅或類似導電材料製成,需使用機械加工的方式形成容納孔收容導電端子和接地端子,價格昂貴。
故,有必要提供一種改進之電連接器,以克服相關技藝之缺陷。
本發明的目的在於提供一種電連接器及其製造方法,該電連接器具有較低之製造成本且易於製造。
為解決前述技術問題,本發明提供一種電連接器,其用於電性連接晶片模組至印刷電路板,包括導電端子、接地端子、採用塑膠射出成型的方式包敷於導電端子外圍之包敷部及採用塑膠射出成型的方式包敷於上述包敷部及接地端子外圍之導電本體,包敷部由絕緣材料製成,導電本體由導電塑膠製成,導電端子與導電本體電性隔離,接地端子與導電本體電性連接。
本發明還提供上述電連接器的製造方法,包括如下步驟:首先,提供導電端子與接地端子;其次,採用塑膠射出成型的方式在導電端子之外圍形成包敷部,包敷部由絕緣材料製成;再次,採用塑膠射出成型的方式在上述包敷部及接地端子之外圍形成導電本體,導電本體由導電塑膠製成,導電端子與導電本體電性隔離,接地端子與導電本體電性連接。
與先前技術相比,本發明電連接器採用多次塑膠射出成型的方式製成,製造工藝簡單,採用導電塑膠作為導電本體與接地端子電性接觸,降低了製造成本。
請參閱第四圖至第五圖所示,本發明電連接器100用以電性連接晶片模組(未圖示)至印刷電路板(未圖示),包括導電本體1、設在導電本體1上之上絕緣本體2及下絕緣本體3、及設在導電本體1、上絕緣本體2及下絕緣本體3內之導電端子4與接地端子5。導電本體1係由液晶高分子聚合物製成之導電塑膠製成。
請參閱第一圖及第五圖所示,導電端子4大致呈圓柱狀結構,包括主體部40、自主體部40向上延伸之上端部41及自主體部40向下延伸之下端部42。主體部40之橫截面積大於上端部41及下端部42之橫截面積。上端部41之末端設有上接觸部410,下端部42之末端設有下接觸部420。上接觸部410延伸出上絕緣本體2與晶片模組電性連接,下接觸部420延伸出下絕緣本體3與印刷電路板電性連接。導電本體1之高度與導電端子4之主體部40之高度相同。
接地端子5與導電端子4結構相同,此處不再詳細描述。接地端子5與導電本體1電性接觸。
請參閱第二圖及第五圖所示,下絕緣本體3包括位於導電本體1一端之本體部31及自本體部31向上延伸之包敷部32。包敷部32包敷在導電端子4之主體部40之外圍,使導電端子4與導電本體1電性隔離。包敷部32之高度與導電端子4之主體部40之高度相同。
請參閱第一圖至第四圖所示,導電本體1、上絕緣本體2、下絕緣本體3及導電端子4與接地端子5採用多次塑膠射出成型的方式固定在一起。製造步驟如下:首先,提供導電端子4與接地端子5;其次,採用塑膠射出成型的方式把下絕緣本體3與導電端子4及接地端子5固定在一起;再次,採用塑膠射出成型的方式把導電本體1與下絕緣本體3、導電端子4及接地端子5固定在一起;最後,採用塑膠射出成型的方式在導電本體1的另一端形成上絕緣本體2。
本發明電連接器100採用多次塑膠射出成型的方式製成,製造工藝簡單,採用導電塑膠作為導電本體1與接地端子5電性接觸,降低了製造成本。

Claims (10)

  1. 一種電連接器,用於電性連接晶片模組至印刷電路板,其包括:
    導電端子;
    接地端子;
    包敷部,其由絕緣材料製成,採用塑膠射出成型之方式包敷於上述導電端子外圍;及
    導電本體,其由導電塑膠製成,採用塑膠射出成型之方式包敷於上述包敷部及接地端子之外圍,上述導電端子與上述導電本體電性隔離,上述接地端子與上述導電本體電性連接。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之電連接器,其中所述導電塑膠係由液晶高分子聚合物製成。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之電連接器,其中所述電連接器還包括採用塑膠射出成型的方式設在導電本體上之上絕緣本體及下絕緣本體,上絕緣本體位於導電本體的一端,下絕緣本體包括位於導電本體另一端之本體部,上述包敷部係自本體部延伸形成。
  4. 如申請專利範圍第3項所述之電連接器,其中所述導電端子包括主體部、自主體部向上延伸之上接觸部及自主體部向下延伸之下接觸部,上接觸部延伸出上述上絕緣本體,上述下接觸部延伸出上述下絕緣本體。
  5. 如申請專利範圍第4項所述之電連接器,其中所述接地端子與上述導電端子結構相同。
  6. 如申請專利範圍第4項所述之電連接器,其中所述包敷部之高度與上述導電端子之主體部之高度及上述導電本體之高度相同。
  7. 一種電連接器之製造方法,包括如下步驟:
    首先,提供導電端子與接地端子;
    其次,採用塑膠射出成型的方式在導電端子之外圍形成包敷部,其由絕緣材料製成;
    再次,採用塑膠射出成型的方式在導電端子上述包敷部及接地端子之外圍形成導電本體,導電本體由導電塑膠製成,導電端子與導電本體電性隔離,接地端子與導電本體電性連接。
  8. 如申請專利範圍第7項所述之電連接器之製造方法,其中所述導電塑膠係由液晶高分子聚合物製成。
  9. 如申請專利範圍第7項所述之電連接器之製造方法,其中所述電連接器還包括採用塑膠射出成型的方式設在導電本體上之上絕緣本體及下絕緣本體,上絕緣本體位於導電本體的一端,下絕緣本體包括位於導電本體另一端之本體部,上述包敷部係自本體部延伸形成。
  10. 如申請專利範圍第7項所述之電連接器之製造方法,其中所述導電端子包括主體部、自主體部向上延伸之上接觸部及自主體部向下延伸之下接觸部,包敷部之高度與上述主體部之高度及上述導電本體之高度相同。
