Description

當計算平台變得愈益強大且能以計多新式而不同的方式回應一使用者時,在計算裝置和使用者間的互動持續改進。一使用者不再需要在一鍵盤上打字以控制應用程式和輸入資料。一圖形使用者界面系統(像是由微軟視窗作業系統所提供者)的發展已藉由讓一使用者能進行輸入以及以較自然且直覺的方式來選擇的方式,大為改善一使用者與一計算裝置互動的易用度。對於需要快速且有效輸入之應用程式(例如,視訊遊戲、虛擬環境、檔案/資料夾管理、等等)而言,提供快速且有效輸入是重要的,所以一使用者可輸入控制動作的易用度特別重要。在過去,使用者通常藉由控制一滑鼠、搖桿、滾輪、遊戲盤、軌跡球或其他使用者輸入裝置,來執行一些由產生虛擬環境之軟體程式定義的操作,以與虛擬環境互動。

一般而言,碰觸感應、電感或電磁感應顯示器表面缺乏好的影像解析度、不適當的識別形狀和物件方向,以及它們不能在同一時刻感應接觸顯示器表面之多重物件。此外,一壓力感應顯示表面需要與該顯示器表面實際的接觸,而不能回應只是鄰近該顯示器表面的物件。因此,亟需一互動顯示器裝置,以回應使用者手指所作之特定手勢,或由該互動顯示器裝置偵測到的其他物件。
本發明揭示一種用以接收來自一使用者之多重同時輸入或手勢之互動式顯示器裝置,用以在一計算系統上執行直覺式的或使用者設定的操作。依據本發明之態樣,本發明揭示一種具有一觸控式螢幕裝置之一計算系統,用以在計算系統上執行一操作,以回應使用者輸入或手勢。使用者輸入或手勢可以是多重同時觸控式螢幕的接觸,或者延著一通常預先定義圖型改變之多重同時觸控式螢幕的接觸。在一示例中,一使用者可在互動式顯示器裝置上以二手指執行計算裝置上之一觸發接觸輔助操作。在另一示例中,一使用者可藉由延著互動式顯示器裝置的表面之一瓶蓋開啟路徑移動全部四支手指和大姆指,執行一螢幕旋轉操作。
此外,本文亦揭示儲存電腦可執行指令以執行本發明態樣的一電腦可讀取媒體。電腦可讀取指令可存在於一或多層計算系統,例如,裝置驅動層、作業系統層、應用程式層或其他。
本「發明內容」旨在以簡化形式,提供一些概念之介紹,其將進一步詳述於「實施方式」。本「發明內容」無意認定請求項標的之主要特徵或重要特徵,亦無意用來限制請求項標的之範圍。
本發明之態樣相關於在一計算裝置(例如,一輸入板)執行一操作,以回應一觸控式輸入裝置之一使用者作出之輸入或手勢。依據本發明之態樣的一通用輸入方法、觸控式輸入裝置(例如,觸控式螢幕裝置)可執行多重任務,包含但不限於支援多重同時觸控式螢幕接觸(即、多重接觸支援)。例如,配備一傳統觸控式螢幕裝置之一計算裝置可對一使用者提供適當的螢幕顯示鍵盤支援。同時,多重碰觸能力允許該使用者在以一手指打字時,以另一手指按壓「shift」鍵或其他轉換鍵。同時,在一協力環境中,依據本發明之態樣,一觸控式螢幕裝置對多重使用者(例如,在一電子白板中)提供同時輸入的支援。此外,依據本發明之態樣,一觸控式螢幕裝置對ISV應用程式(例如,支援手指繪圖之圖形應用程式)上多重輸入流提供支援。
依據本發明之態樣,在一計算系統之一觸控式螢幕裝置的一使用者可以多個手指、配合動作(例如,用於輔助動作之多手指的敲拍)、或定住(例如,一手指敲拍,其係以一相對手指立即敲拍,而不從觸控式螢幕裝置抬起該手指),來產生直覺式手勢或修改既有手勢,以及預先設定該系統,以對應手勢執行一操作。例如,定住動作之一單一手指敲拍可被用於主要動作。例如,一使用者可觸發一接觸輔助(例如,一迴旋小工具“hover widget”、觸控指標、軟體鍵盤等等)之呈現或碰觸,以回應一預先決定的手勢或輸入。在另一示例中,一使用者可改變該系統顯示之可視物件之方向(例如,一螢幕旋轉),以回應一預先設定的手勢。在檢視本文所揭全部內容後,依據本發明之態樣,熟知該項技藝者將明白許多直覺性的手勢,且能移植至一觸控式螢幕。

本發明之態樣可用電腦可執行指令之一般文句來敘述,例如,可由電腦執行之程式模組。通常,程式模組包含例式、程式、物件、元件、資料結構等等,其可執行特定任務或部署特定抽象資料類型。本發明之態樣亦可實施於分散式計算環境,其中遠端處理裝置藉由一通訊網路鏈結並執行任務。在一分散式計算環境,程式模組可位於本地或遠端電腦儲存媒體,包含記憶體儲存裝置。

在多種實施例中,系統提供一墨水平台作為一組COM(元件模組)服務,而一應用程式可用其截取、控制和儲存墨水。一服務使一應用程式能使用本文揭示的墨水顯示來讀取和寫入墨水。該墨水平台亦可包含一標記語言,其包含一類似可擴充標記語言(XML)的語言。此外,該系統可使用DCOM作為另一種實施。在更進一步的部署中可包含來自微軟公司的Win32程式模組,以及.Net程式模組。
依據本發明之各種態樣,第3圖圖示一電腦部署方法之一流程圖,其用以在一計算系統執行一操作,以回應自一使用者接收之輸入。在一示例中,計算系統可以是一輸入板電腦208。該輸入板可包含一觸控式螢幕裝置,其包含一互動式顯示器裝置。舉例而言,該輸入板之一使用者可使用他的或她的手接觸該觸控式螢幕裝置,以與在該互動式顯示器裝置的螢幕上顯示之物件進行互動。

在步驟304,依據本發明之態樣按壓使用者輸入。處理使用者輸入包括但不限於:識別每一觸控式螢幕接觸的屬性,以及如果有的話,識別一欲執行之操作以回應輸入。例如,依據本發明態樣之一計算系統可識別在觸控式螢幕裝置不同位置之多重同時觸控式螢幕接觸。舉例而言,一第一觸控式螢幕接觸可位於觸控式螢幕裝置之左上角下方10畫素和右方40畫素之一絕對位置。一第二觸控式螢幕接觸可位於觸控式螢幕裝置之左上角下方5畫素和右方50畫素之一絕對位置。此外,觸控式螢幕裝置可識別多重同時觸控式螢幕接觸之每一的尺寸。
依據本發明之各種態樣,計算系統(例如,輸入板)可用使用者輸入和可在計算系統上執行之操作間的對映來預先設定。在先前的示例中,對應於輸入之多重同時觸控式螢幕碰觸的屬性指示使用二手指對觸控式裝置提供輸入。假設計算系統已使用一觸發接觸輔助操作(例如,觸發碰觸指標小工具操作)以及上述屬性間的對映來預先設定,則在步驟306中,計算系統將識別要執行的適當操作。

依據本發明之各種態樣,計算系統(例如,輸入板208)可用輸入/手勢和可在計算系統上執行之操作間的對映來預先設定。第5圖繪示一示例性對映500,其儲存在計算系統100,用以預先設定使用者操作的輸入/手勢。在上述例子中,在一觸控式螢幕裝置上使用四手指和姆指以一普通半圓路徑改變位置之一手勢502係預先設定,以對應螢幕旋轉操作504。相同地,在上述例子中,在一觸控式螢幕裝置上使用二手指之一使用者輸入506係預先設定,以對應觸發接觸輔助操作508。依據本發明之態樣,假設一計算系統已使用上述操作以及上述同時觸控式螢幕接觸屬性間的對映來預先設定,則計算系統將識別要執行的適當操作。
依據本發明之態樣,用以回應一預先設定的使用者輸入或手勢而在計算系統上識別欲執行的一操作之電腦可執行指令可以被儲存在計算系統之一電腦可讀取媒體。電腦可讀取指令可在裝置驅動層、作業系統層、應用程式層或其他層上執行。
在裝置驅動層的一示例中,觸控式螢幕裝置的頻率特徵可被調整為允許多重同時觸控式螢幕接觸。例如,以133赫茲回報一單一觸控式螢幕接觸之一傳統觸控式螢幕裝置可被調整為以66赫茲回報二個同時觸控式螢幕接觸。在另一示例中,三個同時觸控式螢幕接觸可被以44赫茲分別回報。依據本發明之態樣,雖然這實施例可完善地調整大小,以變化各種觸控式螢幕縮合,但它在多重同時觸控式螢幕接觸間分割一常數回報頻率,會降低輸入解析度。
在裝置驅動層的另一示例中,由觸控式螢幕裝置所提供的封包大小被增加,以適合多重同時觸控式螢幕接觸。例如,相反於在一既定更新中回報一單一觸控式螢幕縮合的相當資訊(例如,1kb的資訊),系統在攜帶10kb資訊的一封包中回報十個同時觸控式螢幕接觸。這種方式的缺點是,除非使用者持續提供十個同時觸控式螢幕接觸,否則就浪費了封包大小。此外,在一些系統中,驅動器只限於回報限定數量的時觸控式螢幕接觸。這種優點回報頻率是不可改變的,假設匯流排支援增加的封包大小。
在裝置驅動層的另一示例,觸控式螢幕裝置可呈現二邏輯裝置,一邏輯裝置其作用接近於一傳統觸控式螢幕裝置(例如,一數位器回報一單一觸控式螢幕接觸),以及另一邏輯裝置回報相關於多重同時觸控式螢幕接觸之全部資訊。在這示例中,應用程式可自裝置和/或驅動器以一適當請求取出全部資訊,例如,以包含多個觸控式螢幕接觸的一請求、一既定觸控式螢幕接觸的屬性、等等。在另一示例中,傳回的全部資訊可以是觸控式螢幕接觸之一影像,其對應於在互動顯示器裝置螢幕之每一像素(例如,一顯示壓力之灰階影像、或每一像素與裝置之距離)。在上述示例之各種變化中,如果未包含一額外旗標來指示額外資料,則不需要一第二邏輯裝置。而後,可使用諸如一IOCTL,來選擇一應用程式或操作系統,以擷取額外的資料。

Claims (21)
- 一種在一包含一觸控式螢幕裝置之計算系統中執行一操作以回應接收來自該觸控式螢幕裝置之一使用者的輸入的電腦部署方法,其中該觸控式螢幕裝置包含一互動式顯示器裝置,該方法包含以下步驟:接收來自該觸控式螢幕裝置之該使用者的輸入,該輸入包含多重同時觸控式螢幕接觸;識別該等多重同時觸控式螢幕接觸之每一者的一或更多個屬性;識別欲執行以回應該輸入之一第一操作;執行該第一操作;接收一定住手勢(spike gesture)以啟動一第二操作,其中該定住手勢係由以下操作所組成:在一第一方向之一敲拍手勢(flick gesture),其後緊接著在一第二方向之一立即敲拍手勢,而無間斷地偵測到使用者與該觸控式螢幕裝置接觸,且其中該第二方向係實質上與該第一方向為相反方向;及在該計算系統上執行該第二操作,以回應接收該定住手勢。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之方法,其中該第一操作包含觸發該互動式顯示器裝置上之一碰觸指標小工具的呈現。

- 一種在一包含一觸控式螢幕裝置之計算系統中 執行一操作以回應接收來自該觸控式螢幕裝置之一使用者的一手勢的電腦部署方法,其中該觸控式螢幕裝置包含一互動式顯示器裝置,該方法包含以下步驟:接收來自該觸控式螢幕裝置之一使用者的一手勢,該手勢包含多重同時觸控式螢幕接觸,其中該手勢係為一手指滾動(finger roll),該手指滾動包含三個或更多個手指以一根手指接著另一根手指的接續方式來觸碰一顯示器,且當執行每一次觸碰時,該等三個或更多個手指維持每一次觸碰的姿勢,直至完成該手勢為止;處理該手勢,其中該處理手勢之步驟包括識別該等多重同時觸控式螢幕接觸之每一者的一或更多個屬性;以及識別欲執行以回應接收該手勢之一操作。
- 如申請專利範圍第8項所述之方法,其中該操作係為一「alt-tab」操作。
- 如申請專利範圍第8項所述之方法,其中該等多重同時觸控式螢幕接觸的該一或更多個屬性指示有四手指和一姆指碰觸該觸控式螢幕裝置。
- 如申請專利範圍第8項所述之方法,其中該手指滾動手勢包含先以一小指作為開始,接著一無名指、接著一中指、再接著是一食指的一觸碰。
- 如申請專利範圍第8項所述之方法,其中該操作包含一選擇操作。
- 一種方法,該方法包含以下步驟:接收在一觸控式螢幕裝置處之一手勢,該手勢包含多重同時觸控式螢幕接觸;識別該等多重同時觸控式螢幕接觸之屬性,及識別欲執行以回應該手勢的一操作,其中該等屬性包含在沿著該觸控式螢幕裝置之表面的一普通半圓形路徑移動之四根手指與一拇指;及在與該觸控式螢幕裝置相關之一互動式顯示器裝置上執行一螢幕旋轉操作以回應該手勢。
