I34,5552 九、發明說明: 【相關申請案之交互參照】 本申請案主張2006年10月27日申請之韓國 專利申請案2006-105054號之優先權,其整體於 此作為參考。 【發明所屬之技術領域】 本發明係關於一種分滴液體之分滴器,尤其是 有關於一種分滴定量液體於液晶面板製造所用之 玻璃基板上的分滴器。 【先前技術】 平面顯示器包含許多持續增加的技術,使視訊 顯示器相較於使用陰極射線管之傳統電視與視訊 顯示器還要輕,還要薄,且通常少於10公分(4 英吋)厚。需要持續更新之平面顯示器包括液晶顯 示器(LCD)、電漿顯示器、場發射顯示器(FED) ' 有機發光二極體顯示器(OLED)、表面傳導電子發 射顯示器(SED)、奈米發射顯示器(NED)、以及電 場發光顯示器(ELD)。 液晶顯示器(LCD)係一薄型平面顯示裝置,由 設置於光源或反射器前方之任何數目的彩色或是 6 1345552 單色像素構成。液晶顯示器因需要的電量非常低而 被廣泛使用。 用於液晶顯示器之液晶面板製造說明如下。 濾色片與共用電極之圖案形成於一上玻璃基 板上。薄膜電晶體(TFT)與像素電極之圖案形成於 相對於上玻璃基板之一下玻璃基板上。配向層 (alignment layer)係形成於上、下玻璃基板上。摩擦 配向層以使兩配向層間的液晶分子具有預傾角與 方向。塗佈一數量的密封劑而形成給定圖案於上玻 璃基板上,以密封住上、下玻璃基板。一數量的液 晶係被分滴於下玻璃基板上。最後,組合上、下玻 璃基板以構成液晶面板。 分滴一數量的液晶,以形成液晶層於下玻璃基 板之一特定表面區域上,其係藉由形成密封劑的給 定圖案於上玻璃基板界定。 分滴液晶之分滴器形成液晶層於下玻璃基板 之特定表面區域上,係相對於玻璃基板移動喷嘴, 而透過喷嘴分滴注射器内之液體。 7 1345552 當透過喷嘴分滴時,液晶易受溫度改變影響。 溫度變化的改變導致液晶黏度變化。施加於液晶之 分滴壓力必須隨液晶黏度變化而改變。當施加相同 分滴壓力至黏度變低的液晶,液晶量則大於預設的 液晶量。如此因液晶黏度變化造成液晶分滴量不一 致0 液晶溫度的變化可能是因為周圍環境溫度改 變,或重複開、關閥件所產生的高熱導致。 【發明内容】 因此,本發明之一目的在於提供一種分滴液體 之分滴器,能夠分滴一定量液體,不會因為溫度變 化而影響液體黏度。 依據本發明之一方面,提供一種分滴液體於基 板上之分滴器,其包括一喷嘴,相對於基板移動, 透過喷嘴分滴注射器内之液體於基板上;一閥單元 係控制喷嘴分滴液體,其包括一閥件係藉由開啟與 關閉以控制由注射器至喷嘴之液體流動,並且包括 控制閥件之開、關操作的閥件控制器;以及一溫度 維持單元,係維持通過閥件之液體的溫度於預設溫 度。 8 00溫度維持單元可包括測量閥件溫度之感測 器、吸收閥件之熱或產生並施加熱至閥件之叙調敕 單元、以及控制熱調整單元之溫度維持單元,係= 由比較感測器所測量到的溫度與預設溫度,以維4 閥件於預設溫度。 ’、 本發明之前述及其他目的、特徵、觀點及優 點,將因本發明以下之詳細說明及伴隨圖式而更清 楚。 /月 【實施方式】 現參考本發明較佳實施例,將伴隨圖式詳細說 明一範例。 第1圖係依據本發明一實施例之分滴液體之 分滴器的配置示意圖。 請參照第1圖’依據本發明一實施例之分滴液 體之分滴器100包括一喷嘴111,且透過其分滴液 體,例如液晶。 容納於注射器112内的液體’係透過相對於基 板10移動之噴嘴111被分滴於基板1 〇上。喷嘴1 j! 1345552 【主要元件符號說明】 10 基板 100 分滴 101 主體 102 頭支樓框 110 分滴頭單元 111 喷嘴 112 注射器 120 閥單元 121 閥件 122 主體 122a 入口 122b 出口 123 移動構件 124 彈性構件 125 驅動器 126 凸緣 127 線圈 129 閥件控制器 130 壓力維持單元 140 溫度維持單元 141 感測器 142 熱調節單元 143 溫度維持控制器 144 導熱構件 145 散熱器
