487568 五、發明說明(1 ) 主明之背景和槪述 本發明一般係關於全體臀關節造形術之領域’較詳言 之,係關於三分段模組臀幹其容許各組成部份間之全尺寸 可交換性,尙提供在使用期間對於組成部份脫離之優良抵 抗性。 全體臀關節造形術設計方面之模塊性是一種進化槪念’ 在臨床文獻中正得到增加之引用。此等系統的優點包括隔 離棚架彎曲性以便定做近側和遠側管塡充以及適應近側變 形和骨損耗之困難情勢。然而,此等設計引起各種問題包 括由於應力和組成部份間之脫離,在金屬-金屬互連時之 結構「折衷」。 爲了解決此等問題,槪括而言,本發明提供一種模組臀 彌補物包含下列組件··(a)具有一個軸向孔通經其中之近側 分段,該近側分段包括與股骨之前部組成部份可鎖緊接合 之一個頸部,並另外包括自該頸部遠側延伸之一個陽錐形 部份;(b)具有一個近側端和一個遠側尖之遠側分段,另外 現在參照第1-8圖,使用相同參考數字來指示遍及各圖 之相同組件,本發明之模組臀彌補物的第一具體實施例通 常以數字10表示。如第1圖中所示,臀彌補物10 —般包 括:(a)近側分段12 ; (b)幹骺端之分段14和遠側分段 1 6。可視需要使用一個刻有螺紋之螺釘〗8來加強各個分 段1 2,1 4和1 6的鎖緊接合如下述。如此處所具體表現, 近側分段1 2,幹骺端之分段1 4和遠側分段1 6每一者係被
