^ 388 76 A7 B7 經濟部智慧財產局具工消费合作社印製 五、發明說明(1 ) [發明所屬之技術領域] 本發明係關於光學記錄媒體,更詳細地說,係有關於 可以記錄一次之光學記錄媒體。 [先前技術] 光學記錄媒體可區分為僅限於記錄一次之單次記錄型 (Write Once Read Many,以下簡稱為W〇RM型)以及可以 於記錄後消除再記錄之再錄型(Rewritable,以下簡稱為rw 型)。 現今WORM型之光學記錄媒體已經以磁碟的形式實 現了。尤其在資料收容形磁碟,可記錄之音頻小磁碟 (Compact Disc :以下簡稱CD),光碟等之領域中進步顯 著。為使此種光學記錄媒艘可以與一般的CD相容,其要 求條件為反射率高,載波雜音比(Carrier-to-noise ratio, 以下簡稱CNR)特性優異以及具有記錄之保存穩定性與高 的記錄敏感度。 如上所述,做為具有與CD相容之光學記錄媒體有一 種可錄式 CD(Compact Disc-Recordable,以下簡稱為 CD- R)。此種光學記錄媒體係在透明基板上塗佈可以吸收光之 有機染料以形成記錄層之後,再於上面形成反射層來製 成。此種光學記錄媒體與使用金屬薄膜做為記錄層之光學 記錄媒體比較起來經濟性及生產性方面較為有利(參照美 國專利第5,090,009號)。 做為形成前述記錄層之有機染料’可以利用花青系染 料。在此,花青系染料係指含有以一 CH=或其連鍵結合 含氩雜環兩個之陽離子構造之染料之總稱。而且已知可形 ---I ----- II 取 ---II 訂----I--線 (請先閱讚背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標毕(CNS)A4規格(210 x 297公釐) 4388 76 A7
五、發明說明(2 ) 經濟部智慧財產局員工消费合作社印製 成反射廣之物質有金、銀、#、鋼等。其^金最為適合 做為反射層形成物質,但是在經濟上則不合算。利用鋁做 為反射層形成物質時,因為反射特性不良,光學記錄媒體 之相容性降低。而且利用銅做為反射層形成物質時,則有 降低光學記錄媒體之耐久性的問題。 另一方面,利用銀做為反射層形成物質時,在經濟層 面上比利金之情形有利,但是由於銀與花青系染料之反應 以致花青系染料被分解而增加塊出錯率(bI〇ck err〇r rate) 及不穩定值(jitter value),不但EFM信號特性趨於惡化, 而且發生所記錄之資訊消失等之嚴重問題(參照日本特開 平7-254167號)。為了解決此種問題,有人提出將穩定剤 與花青系染料以1比1混合做為記錄層形成物質以降低與 銀之反應性之昂貴之特殊花青系染料之方法(參照美國專 利第5,154,958號广但是這種方法通常使用多量的高價穩 定劑’因此有光學記錄媒體的製成單價高昂的問題。 因此本發明人等為解決上述的問題,使用了與反射層 所用之銀反應性較低且價廉的花青系染料而製造了記錄 層,因而發明了本發明。 [本發明欲解決之問題] 因此,本發明之目的在提供一種記錄保存穩定性獲得 改善且製造成本降低之光學記錄媒體。 [解決問題之手段] 為達成上述目的,本發明提供在透明基板上含有依次 形成之記錄層及反射層之光學記錄媒體,其特徵為上述記 錄層含有下述通式(I)之花青系染料及穩定劑,而上述反 射層係由銀或銀合金所形成: 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 X 297公釐) ---— — [ — II ^-------^*1 —---II . Yu與Yu係由氫,齒素,硝基與氰基所構成之群中所選 出;心及R2為互相獨立之(:3 s烷基;h為氫或烷基; X'為由 CKV、PF6.、C0H5S(V及 p-CHfASCV所構成之 群所選出,但是R3為氩時,,Υ2,Υ3 , γ4 , γ5,Y。, Υ7, Ys,Υ9’ Υ10, Yu及γ12之中至少有一個是由鹵素, 硝基及氛基所構成之群選出。 [發明之實施形態] 以下進一步詳細說明本發明。 本發明中所用之基板係利用通常做為光碟之基板材料 之聚碳酸酯’而以使用打壓機(stamper)之射出成形等之方 法製得。上述基板之徑跡槽之深度以18〇至250nm,槽底 之寬以250至450mn為宜。 在上述記錄層中使用通式(I )之花青系染料β較佳之 花青系染料是通式(I )中之r3為甲基,而γ,,γ2,γ3, Υ4 ’ Υ5 ’ Υ6 ’ Υ7 ’ Ya ’ Υ9,γ1〇,γη 及 γΐ2 皆為氫者。 上述記錄層除了花青系染料之外另含有穩定劑。在 此’穩定劑為此領域中通常使用為穩定劑之物質’以單峯 本紙張尺度適用中國國 ---— — — — — — HI— .教! — — — — 訂-------•線 f請先閱璜背面之注t-事項再填寫本頁} 4388 76 A7 _______B7___ 五、發明說明(4) 氣猝滅劑(smglet 〇xygen qUencher)較佳。有代表性之猝滅 劑之例有苯胺系梓滅劑,亞破基苯胺,亞硝基盼等。上述 穩定劑與通式(I )之花青系染料之混合重量比為3 : 1〇〇 至 15 : 100。 s己錄層之厚度以1〇〇至250nm為宜。記錄層可以用 旋轉塗布(spin coating),喷鍍(sputtering)等方法製造。例 如,可以利用將花青系染料及穩定劑溶解於適當的溶媒(例 如:2,2,3,3-四氯丙醇,雙丙酮醇,烷氧基乙醇)之溶液以 旋轉塗布法塗布後,在攝氏70度至90度下乾燥30分鐘 至1小時即製得》 本發明之反射層是使用銀或銀合金。銀合金可以含有 鐵、發'金等元素。銀或銀合金反射層可以用一般之嘴錄, 蒸發等方法製得。銀或銀合金反射層之厚度約為3〇至 90nm。 此外,反射層上可以另外形成保護層,通常利用uv 硬化樹脂。 [實施例] 以下,要以下列實施例及比較例進一步詳細說明本發 明。惟下列實施例及比較例僅是示範本發明而已,並非用 於限制本發明。 [實施例1] 利用使用打壓機之射出成形法,製成了形成有螺旋形 徑跡(深220mm ’寬350mm,節距1.6 /z m)之厚度1 2mm 外徑120mm之聚碳酸酯磁碟。 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS)A4規格(210 x 297公爱) 438876 A7 ___B7_____ 五、發明說明(5 ) 在上述破碟基板之基板中心部分滴下含有與下述通式 (Π )之染料(富士照相軟片製品)3重量%及染料重量之30/0 相當之量的笨胺系穩定劑(曰本化藥製品IRG〇222)之 2,2,3,3-四氣丙醇溶液後,將上述基板以15〇()111?111之速度 旋轉10秒鐘。然後在攝氏70度下乾燥該基板二小時而形 成記錄層(厚度:150nm)。 【化2 1
