Abstract

An active matrix LCD (liquid crystal display) apparatus having high contrast, good image and good view angle and without ficker and crosstalk is disclosed. The LCD apparatus comprises a substrate with a tropism film directly formed or a tropism film and a resist film orderly formed on a face of the substrate and a color polarization film formed on the other face of the substrate, an image pixel layer constructed by a plurality of scans signals, video signals, pixel electrodes and active elements provided above the substrate and a liquid crystal layer provided between the substrate and the image pixel layer. The image pixel layer can be drove by an outer circuit according to the image need to be displayed so as to provide a float electrode field parallel with the substrate to drive the liquid crystal layer to polarize and display the image.
