Abstract

This invention provides a conveying device capable of conveying substrate material without damaging it, the maintenance operation thereof being easy to perform. A feed roller (23) is provided with a ring member (24) in direct contact with a glass substrate (7), and a holding member (27) for fixing the ring member (24) to a roller shaft (22), the ring member (24) being formed of soft material. Further, the ring member (24) is provided with a dividing section to make it possible to attach or detach the ring member (24) to/from the roller shaft (22) without detaching the roller shaft (22) from the conveying device (1). This makes it possible to convey the glass substrate (7) without damaging it and to easily perform the maintenance operation.

在3、4、5、6之各裝置中分別具備搬送裝置1,玻璃基 板7被沿著如圖中箭頭所示的方向從左側向右側依次搬 送,全體形成一個連續清洗線。以下,以紫外線灰化裝置 3為例進行說明。 紫外線灰化裝置3的本體1 1呈箱狀,使上面呈開口狀, 並配置如堵塞該開口部之兩片燈罩1 2 (參照圖2 )。 從本體1 1之前面來看,位於其左側的燈罩1 2,其左側 緣前後兩端部介由鉸鏈機構由本體1 1的前面壁部Π A以及
